A must to stop in and get a bite to eat! We had just flown in and we were hungry. We got fried pickles as our appetizer and they were DELICIOUS! The homemade ranch was top notch!!

Decided to check this place out after it was highly recommended by a friend. We checked out the menu and the kids were excited for the Mac and cheese options. The pictures on the site sold us. Unfortunately, what we ordered based on the photos was not what we received. The fried pickles came out as pickle fries, overcooked pickle slivers in way too much breading, not pickle chips. The fish in the fish and chips was a long skinny piece that just looked like a giant freezer fish stick. The Mac and cheese was bright orange and full of chili spices. Both kids ordered Mac and ended up taking one bite and throwing the rest away. Service was decent. Small gastropub in Erie that appeared to be full of local residents. Cute place for a neighborhood bite. But we will not return.

Overall, a solid pub-like experience for a meal and a drink, but nothing exceptional. Very dark bar atmosphere inside. Space dominated by a large, long bar where most people sit, giving a very local feel but not if you’re looking for something more upscale. Had just the fries smothered with green chile- very good. Craft beer selections on tap very limited.

Visiting my brother in Lafayette and my Dad wanted a “good burger”. Quick Google search found The Rusty Melon.
Mission accomplished. Burgers were delicious. Fries crisp and hot. Cole slaw was fresh and not too sweet. I ordered the open faced green Chile cheeseburger. My brother wanted to send his back to get one too. LOL
That said, he had no complaints about his BBQ Bacon Burger. And Dad was very happy with his choice too.
Clean and quiet on a Monday at lunch. Food came quickly and our server was attentive and friendly. Worth a stop!
Only complaint has nothing to do with the restaurant. The parking lot was designed for diminutive vehicles. Parking a full-sized pickup was a little challenging.

Sports bar that is vaguely kid-friendly too, odd as that is. Strong and good priced drinks. Menu has all the usual suspects. Rattlesnake burger was good. Good for a quick bite. Reaper sauce was also a standout.

Good place for a burger, very slow service, so if you’re at all in a hurry, don’t come here. All of the waitresses/waiters were bartendeding on top of servicing tables, so they were extremely busy tending to the bar most of the time. But I will say that she came by and quickly without saying a word would grab our cups and fill them, so our cups were never empty.

Ordered a large online order with a bunch of modifications and it came out perfectly prepared and was seriously delicious! They even got the temperatures right on the burgers. Definitely coming back!

Husband and I enjoyed a quick bite here while running an errand in Erie. Hawaiian burger was very good, as were the fries. Staff were friendly and quick. There was an Avs game on and we won. Good experience!

I had ordered food for pick up. Mac & cheese and queso as well as fried pickles. I live literally 60 seconds of a drive from this place. Got home open my bag there was queso spilled everywhere. The melted cheese for my mac & cheese was completely spilled all over the bag. I went to open the to go box for mac & cheese to wipe it down and it splattered everywhere. I’m just saying do a better job packing your food. I called to let them know, they put me on hold forever so I end up hanging up and writing this review.
Not complaining just saying… Don’t pack people’s food that they pay for a half ass.
