I CANNOT IN GOOD CONSCIENCE RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.
I took my son there for his birthday dinner on a Saturday afternoon. They’re only about 15 other people there. Service was alright but could have been better. The waitress had to be reminded of items that come with the dish. And most of the waitresses were sitting around on their phones. The dishes we ordered looked good, but we ended up having to leave and take them home with us to finish cooking them. We complained to the waitress and she apologized but never offered any other accommodations. When the check came, it came with two totals, one cash price (which was cheaper) and one card price. This is the second time we have eaten there in 5 years and a good reminder of why we don’t go more often.

Service was amazing. Steak Fajitas, but the steak was overcooked. Cooked before it came out on the hot plate then it continued to cook. The steak wasn’t trimmed, and a few tough, fatty pieces had to be spit out. Just ok nothing great. Salsa was lacking any flavour, or hint spice. The chips were good.

This is my second of their restaurants, we have been to two different locations. I thought we would give them another chance, but the same thing happened. They literally drown everything in cheese sauce. I guess it’s because the food tastes so bad. They’re trying to make up for it with the cheese sauce. But there is cheese sauce everywhere. There’s so much cheese sauce. I think they use it in the urinals for air freshener. We ordered nachos, and I was trying to find a life preserver to throw the chips. I’m sorry to say no chips survived..

We stopped in here on the way back to Canada. We had the Pollo El Rey and the Super Combination – they were awesome. Great service, great food (and lots of it), and very reasonably priced. Thank you!

Staff was friendly, and the service was decent. The amount of food on the plate is pretty good, and the food itself was well cooked. I didn’t really think the food had too much taste imo, you might want to add a bit of salt. Otherwise, it was good. Overall, it was the best food choice and prices from all the surrounding restaurants. Enjoy.

The food was fantastic and was priced very well! The lunch Fajitas were cooked well with no grease, like some Mexican restaurants are guilty of. Our waiter was extremely attentive and kept everything refilled. The one drawback is the physical condition of the restaurant – the bathroom doors don’t close and lock, the patio furniture is broken and cannot be used, and the general upkeep of commonly used areas are in need of improvement.

After waiting for a while for service and thoroughly asking questions on the food about cross contamination, I found out the chips are fried with the flour taco shells. So, no chips and salsa for me. I did get the guacamole dip that I normally would eat with chips, but it went with the ontray.
I do need to explain that they were short staffed with only 3 servers doing every. I was impressed by the attention of getting me corn tortillas for my Pollo Loco chicken instead of the flour ones. The chicken was good with the white cheese and spices with rice / beans.
They are right of I 75 exit 141 if you are looking for a bite to eat traveling through.
If you have celiac or a high gluten allergy, I would stay clear.
