My first time there. Very good experience. Friendly waitstaff! Me being of Canadian descent I decided to try their “poutines” — golden French fries, cheese curls, rich brown gravy. Plain and simple. Diet Coke for a simple drink.

I ordered steak tips well done and this is what I was served. They tasted bloody and were red as can be. I threw them out, along with the $29 I paid for them. The restaurant was not even crowded, so I’m not sure why the cook rushed my order. It will be a long time before I return to Bailey’s after this. Very disappointing.

This is now the 3rd time we’ve had undercooked food here. My boyfriend got me a burger for takeout while he was dining there. The burger was still RAW. We stopped ordering certain foods within the last few months but we will stop going here all together now.

First time here, we made reservations so when we arrived we were promptly seated. Staff was great, we placed our drink order and asked for the nacho’s to be our appetizer and that was not problem. Timing was great for the meals as we had just finished the nacho’s, so good job there!
Food was cooked to our liking and you will not want for portion size!
Pricing is at the average for the area, menu selection is nice and we will be coming here again.
The greenish color drink is known as the Boston Harbor. It’s a pineapple tiki type drink with just a bit of blue curacao mixed with the pineapple juice to give it that greenish color.

Four dollars for a coke with one refill….$4….FOUR.. one refill
Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, service was pleasant but very very slow, we went Friday around 3 pm. it took almost 10 minutes to get my $4 coke.
I tried the scallops, they were ok the breathing wasn’t very good, it was just kinda of there, on top of the scallops and honestly pretty dry, there were a lot of scallops though, I thought they’d be more seared, or firmer but they weren’t. it is what it is. I didn’t go to a seafood place so I understand I’m not going to get the best seafood meal. just kind of left a bit of lacking. it looked great.
my wife got the salmon. she said it was okay. just a piece of salmon again. we didn’t go to a seafood place. we got steak tips for the kids. the kids liked the steak tips. they said steak tips were really good. the butternut squash was pretty darn good. the mashed potatoes were yummy
we also tried the chicken tenders. I will drive back 20 minutes to this restaurant to get their chicken and tenders again. my wife will drive back 20 minutes to this restaurant to get the chicken tenders again. the chicken tenders were the best damn chicken tenders I think I’ve ever eaten

Excellent service and food. Have never had a bad meal here. The short ribs are amazing no matter how you have them… Sandwich, entree, on you Mac n cheese! The burgers are huge, always juicy and the fries… Perfection!!
But really it’s the service! The wait staff are always attentive, friendly, welcoming and very helpful.
Also super attentive to allergies which is appreciated!

So the clam chowder and burger were delicious! The main reason I don’t want to give this 5 stars is because on the drink menu it says to ask about the craft beers they have on tap, we asked and were told that they had bud lite, Sam adams, Guinness, and Truly which a little bit of a disappointment. But still the food and service was good, the outdoor seating was pretty- and I’d like to come back for the dessert that I was being served but I was way too full after all the food.
Updates review after two more trips! Fantastic service and they do have craft beers, maybe the server I had before was confused? Well the French onion soup is divine and I’ve been happy with all the food I’ve had here so far!
Update 2: honestly docking some points here since my last visit. Ordered the salmon burger and it was super dry and fishy. I would normally let that slide but my partners Mac n cheese was also flavorless, not worth the price. The waitress noticed I was not eating my salmon burger and did refund me but the whole experience was just not great and meanwhile there was another table returning food.

Bailey’s is a nice place to eat with an impressive menu. This summer evening we ate al fresco (and chased away a bee that was also interested in the menu. Such visitors can be part of the outdoors so eat inside if you can’t take the chance of shooing away a flier. The inside is very nice too. We enjoyed our meal outside.)

I had the country fried chicken over delicious mashed potatoes. The onion rings were very good, too, that they substituted for the salad I didn’t want. No hassle with the swap out.
