The atmosphere is delightful with loads to look at, and there was a guy doing trivia games at the front that people were definitely enjoying. It looked like fun.
For food though, it wasn’t a good experience for me. I don’t do spicy ️ food at all— and that limited choices severely. Even the complimentary chips were hot enough that my friends who like spice warned that the chips have quite the kick. I picked the most mellow thing I could find— “Mo Betta’ Plattet”— and even though there was supposed to be no spicy stuff, about every 5th bite landed on something terribly spicy. It was hard on my gut.
That said, the place is still fun and interesting. I’d go again if a party wanted to for playing games and enjoying the vibe, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
I love the beach vibe. They have had some great live music. We enjoyed Jason Castro when he was here. It feels very tropical. It is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly. I would highly recommend.
I can’t speak on the food, atmosphere. See below to see why.
We did not have the chance to enter the establishment due to the fact that we had someone in our party under the age of 21. It does not state on Google or the website that there is an age limit. If it does state that on the website or Google, we could not find it.
We decided to eat here after waiting 4 hours for a table at a near by restaurant that we decided not to eat at after our seating becoming available with 15 minutes left before closing so by this time, we were hungry (not Reefs fault, just part of the story) We understand this is a bar and grill but it should state somewhere on the website or yelp or google that at some point, you will need to be +21 to enter.
Food is good, seemed a bit salty across the board and i like my salt but not marking down for this because it could have been a lot of things. Will verify next trip. Had the combo app platter (mondu poopu platter), the Rangoons (yum), and the sushi roll of the night which was really good. Nachos were disappointing they just had way too thick of a cheese layer which made them heavy and hard to eat. YMMV
Overall worth a stop in. Outside patio is awesome, decor and atmosphere is awesome
