The Crescent Inn used to have to have the most delicious chicken and home made desserts. We haven’t been in a while, but decided to give it a try last night. The service was good, but the food was horrible. $70 down the drain. We ordered loaded cheese fries, that were almost black and tasted as bad as they looked. We also had a kids spaghetti that had 2 different colored sauces on it, that my spaghetti-loving boy only took one bite of. We had friend chicken that had no breading on it and had been cut open and then refried, dry and tasteless. The bacon was good, but the pancakes were dry and hard and the French toast was horrible. Unfortunately, we won’t be back!

Small town “old country style” diner.
Amazing food and more than plenty of it! The country fried steak was incredible! The Philly cheese steak was great! And huge! Our waitress Dawn was very friendly and helpful! A definite must do experience!

Im not from this area. I was only here for a doctor’s appointment. As I was leaving the area, I ordered some food to go from crescent inn. And I am very impressed. The food was cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional. And you can’t beat the pricing. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend.

We had looked everywhere for a breakfast spot that wasn’t apart of a commercial chain, and thankfully we came across this gem last minute before we made our way to Shenandoah. Lovely little family diner with delicious food. Thank you all for being apart of our morning. Hope to see you again soon!

No frills spot with standard plates. We went for a hearty breakfast on a cold morning and weren’t disappointed. Nothing adventurous but what we had was good. The pancakes were large and tasty. Had no trouble finding a seat and food came relatively quickly. Worth a stop if traveling down I-64 and want a simple, down home spot.

Just because you have the recipe does’nt mean your making it right. . I love Tati’s signature egg rolls. These aren’t her egg rolls. Hers’ were consistent in size , and even filling and fresh tasting, not dripping with grease .
These are incredibly greasy, filling was off and undercooked. One egg roll was tiny the other long and missing filling, just wrapper.
Ordered a triple decker sub and crinkle fries. The fries are never crisp and these were old and limp seemed like they were cooked twice. Sub seemed as though someone struggled with the concept, sub not the traditional sandwhich. Hamburgenr Steak dinner the Mac and cheese is not good, over cooked and greasy, not creamy, green beans cooked to mush and no flavor. Gravy taste like it’s from a packet.
Still giving the new owners a chance, I hope it improves.

Glad we went to this hole in the wall place. Best fried chicken I have had in years. You can buy it by the bucket if you are local. Better than the Colonel ever thought about making.

We were traveling from the Outer Banks to West Virginia and stopped here for lunch. Not much to look at on the outside or inside. Our service was excellent and the food was just like any home town diner well seasoned and filling. I had the 2 piece dark meat fried chicken, wife had the pulled pork sandwich and our son had the brisket sandwich with onion rings.

The portions were good with the wife getting more pulled pork than would fit on her bun.

If you like home cooking and some local flavor this is a great stop.

Food is old fashioned comfort food. Breakfast items include real country ham. Apples with a touch of cinnamon. Even blackberry pancakes sometimes the size of dinner plates..and biscuits with sausage gravy. Yum!!!

I’ve been eating at the Crescent Inn for years and have never been disappointed- until today . I think the fry’s were leftover from lunch and at the bottom of the fryer . The catfish and beans were hot and tasty. The cornbread was cold and dry . Maybe just an off day but it will be a long time before I return ☹️. Photo is of my “fry’s”

We are here for the first time this week. It’s nice and clean inside with lots of parking. Our food arrived quickly. My side salad was a nice size and had a good amount of stuff, not just lettuce. Mac and cheese and great. Fried chicken was alright but not my favorite. Everyone else got breakfast and loved it! They have turkey bacon and sausage options which is rare in old style diners here. Overall great experience. Friendly staff and affordable, easy lunch!
