Fantastic French bakery. The croissants are crispy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside. The chocolate pots de créme are rich and creamy. The cookies are crunchy with yummy chocolate chunks. And the breads are irresistible. The best bakery on the cape.

Walking into this bakery felt like stepping into a charming café tucked away in the heart of France. The air was warm with the scent of buttery croissants and fresh espresso—instant happiness! I tried the almond croissant and a raspberry tart, and both were absolutely divine. Flaky, rich, and full of flavor in every bite.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has such a cheerful, cozy vibe. Whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or sitting down with a latte to soak in the atmosphere, this bakery is pure joy. Can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu. A true gem!

Flies on bread!!!!!

The queue wasn’t organized, and it took about 30 minutes just to order. Since the staff has to pick up every single item, it makes the process very slow. Also, because customers can’t get close to the products, flies were gathering around the less popular items.

To solve these issues, switching to a self-service style where customers pick their own bread and bring it to the register would likely clear up the congestion. This would also significantly reduce the workload for your staff

If I could give them more stars, I would! Unbelievably delectable food and pastries. The service is always outstanding despite them being incredibly busy. I go here very often, probably too often, but it’s so worth it. A few of my favorites are the Berry croissants, their vanilla Berry Latte, and the Quiche. Recommend to everyone who loves great food.

Maison Villatte charmed us all! The staff were incredibly friendly and patient. It was pretty busy an hour before closing. My daughter declared it was “just like being in Disney” as she picked out her dessert. The variety of pastries and breads was impressive, from classic croissants to unique fruit tarts. Everything looked and tasted divine. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious treats made it a perfect family outing. Highly recommend for a little slice of Parisian magic!”

This is one of the best bakery in entire New England. With enormous options in all baked goods Customers feel blind what to order. A variety of bread with sour dough options that comes with olive oil, raisins etc.

Cookies, croissant, fudge, smoked marshmallow: you name it they have it. Amazing bunch of items for kids. The long queue inside the store is really worth it. I wish to be back soon.

Save you money, time and patience (and avoid the incredibly rude treatment) and get pastries at Roche Bros, Whole Foods, Market Basket, wherever but not here. I lived in Europe and France for many years and although these pastries LOOK wonderful, they were very mediocre. The prices were insanely high. We waited more than 30 mins, half of it outside in bitter cold weather – no one could figure out where the line was and people kept cutting the line. Only one person filling orders with no organization. They looked like hated being there.

I’m ashamed to say how many times we went back to this bakery during our short stay in Falmouth, but it was just that good. We had lattes, breakfast croissants, and macaroons. Everything was excellent. The macaroons are the best I’ve ever had, with the lemon macaroon being my favorite. There will be a line anytime you go. Wait in the line, you won’t be sorry.

How did I not know about this incredible bakery!!! I’ve been coming to Martha’s Vineyard for most of my life and somehow missed that this gem for TWELVE YEARS until they opened the 2nd location in Woods Hole last summer. I feel in love. It’s so delicious and I haven’t had a single thing I didn’t love there. It’s easily the best French pastries I’ve had outside of France. I would highly recommend it for anyone who likes baked goods.
