I am not sure why this place has such a high review.
My husband and I ate here on Saturday at 11. When we first walked in the place smelled like dirty mop water. I thought about leaving due to the smell and the volume of the music, but my husband wanted to try it so I stayed.
The food came out quick, but wasn’t hot. I got the Cali-club wrap. My wrap was bland, had 2 mini pieces of Avocado, if you are going to call it a cali-wrap, alot of Avocado is a must-have.
It also had very little bacon, lettuce, or tomato. The fries were over seasoned and my husband’s burger was over cooked.
Then as we were getting the check, my husband asked if they offered a military discount. Out waitress literally rolled her eyes at him as she answered yes.
Thanks young lady, for disrespecting a man, who has sacrificed 22 long years of his life to protect his county and spending years of his time, alone away from family, dodging bullets while serving during the war.
Definitely do not recommend and there is no way I would ever eat here again.

Can honestly say this is some of the best food in Hattiesburg! The servers/bartenders are amazing at their jobs and management has always been more than accommodating any time there’s ever been an issue (rarely). The GM Lydia is doing a fantastic job at running this store!

A friend and I came to grab drinks a few days ago, and I have never been in a restaurant where a manager (Lydia) was so disrespectful and unprofessional toward both employees and customers. Not only did I see her outside drinking and smoking with the cooks, but I also overheard the horrible things she said about her own workers after they left. That kind of behavior from someone in a management position is completely unacceptable.
I ordered a drink at the bar and didn’t like it, which wasn’t a big deal. My server was incredibly sweet and kind, but once she stepped away, the manager, Lydia, took over and began saying some of the most unpleasant things I’ve heard in a workplace setting. Based on how comfortable she seemed acting this way, it felt like this behavior was normal for her.
I’ve heard before that this place treats its workers terribly, and unfortunately, I witnessed it firsthand. It’s really disappointing to see employees treated this way, especially in front of customers. As someone who used to be a server, I know how hard the job can be. Being talked down to and bad-mouthed by a manager—especially one who is outside drinking and smoking with staff—should never be acceptable.

I have mixed emotions about this place. I’ve been here twice. The first time (4guest) we ordered and appetizers and after waiting idek how long the food comes out. Not the appetizer. And then eveyone else had their food but me to which then we were told someone else had took my burger. I was trying to be patient and understanding until the rest of the table was finished with their food and I jsut said to take my burger off and they put my onion rings in a to go box. Fast forward a couples months we visit there again thinking it couldn’t possibly be that bad again and to my surprise we were met with the exact same result. Everyone had gotten their food again and the appetizer never came out and here I was sitting without my food. This time was a little better because our waitesss was very nice checking up on us keeping us updated and the manger actually got involved this go around and gave us a discount. I was very pleased with that and I think the food is absolutely divine but it’s the fact that the exact same scenario happened the only 2 times we’ve ever been there. We also had 2 parties sitting next to us that came in after us and both had ate and left before us. I’ll probably give this place one more shot bc I was honestly just grateful that they accommodated to their mess ups which is more than I could say for other places but I think they just need a better system for making sure everything comes out correctly.

Zydeco; I was satisfied with the portion size, but it was very sweet, like a dessert. I thought the pepper vinaigrette would be more like Italian dressing, rather than raspberry vinaigrette. Maybe leave the dressing on the side, for customers to measure out on their own?

I’m on a mission to try every Walk-On’s location across Mississippi, and let me tell you, this is already at the top of my list! The experience was incredible. Pat, the bartender, was an absolute gem – attentive, friendly, and made the best margarita I’ve ever had (no exaggeration, it was perfection).
What really stood out was Kelly, who stopped by the bar to check in on me. It’s not every day you see management genuinely care about their guests’ experience. That personal touch goes a long way!
And the food? Wow. The Ragin’ Redfish with Crawsauce was an absolute knockout – packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out. 10/10, hands down!

Never in my life have I had a problem with walk ons until tonight. We walked in with about a hour and half left before they closed the people at the bar turned us away and told us they were closed basically. Said the bar was shut down and the grills were off. Been working all day and just wanted a warm meal and can’t even get it at a restaurant due to some lazy people. First time ever walking in and will be the last time to.
