We dropped in for a quick bite after a long trip returning from Paris. The restaurant was busy due to the hotel hosting a conference. We were seated in an area that felt like an overflow section. Nice, not setup for guests. Still nice. Especially next to the port and docks. Our meals were excellent.

It’s a beautiful restaurant hidden within the hotel. We went for my birthday. The food was fantastic. Everyone in our party (4 of us) absolutely loved our food! Our waiter was nice and attentive. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is definitely on the pricer side. The steak was welly prepared and the shredded bacon sweet sauce on top of the beef was quite surprising. No unlimited sour dough provided. The meatballs were great too, dipping in the flavorful tomato sauce. Having dinner while enjoying the sunset was pretty romantic but do remember to bring a pair of sunglasses while you wait for the twenty-sec orange sunset. It can get pretty cold by the ocean so also prepare a light jacket with you. Overall, it was a nice dining experience

Got lunch here on Valentine’s Day with no reservation, overall had a great experience. It took a little while to get a waiter (about twenty minutes to have our drinks order taken) but once we had one they were exceptional, very attentive and knowledgable about the menu. The menu was different from the one online, turned out they had just changed their menu. Not as many vegetarian options on the new one. I got the tomato tagliatelle which had a bunch of protein options but none vegetarian, so it was a bit bland if I’m honest. That was the only downside with the food though, everything else was excellent! Oysters were great but small.
The door to the kitchen needs a bit of WD40, the constant squeaking was not the vibe!

We had breakfast with a view at Salt Restaurant during our weekend stay at the Marina del Rey Hotel. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and we were seated right away. The staff were attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I’d definitely come back for drinks at sunset to enjoy the view.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now and eaten at the restaurant several times during both trips. The food’s actually pretty decent, and for a hotel restaurant the prices aren’t bad either. But the service? Honestly some of the worst I’ve ever seen.

If you’re not sitting right in front of the bartender, you may as well be invisible. The views are great, whether you sit inside looking out at the harbour or outside with the panorama, but good luck enjoying them when you’re stuck waiting forever with an empty glass, no food, and staff who clearly don’t care. It’s pretty unfortunate.

From start to finish I had an amazing experience. I was very impressed with the kind and attentive service, especially from Ginger. She was a pleasure to talk to and made sure I was well satisfied, along with the other very nice woman. I had the avocado himmus, pheonomenal, and the seabass, excuistite, had a great view too, very relaxing overall. I would come again and with friends for sure

Really enjoyed this hidden gem. It is right in the Marina and has a great patio and space.
I had dinner and drinks and enjoyed the large selection they had.

I would absolutely go back!

From time to time a seafood tower will walk into your life that must have. This was one of those, stacked with fresh crisp assortment of crustaceans. I followed the tower up with poke which did not disappoint. Great location and view of the harbor! We had a large group that enjoyed all the waterfront restaurant had to offer.

One sees a beautiful marina and thinks wow a 5 star spot. Let start there and work our way to how we ended up at 2 stars.

Hostess seemed to be having a bad day, took us all of two seconds to reply to her “do you have a reservation” question before she sharply asked again. But we continue, still unbiased at this point. Still 5 stars.
Sat down at 7:30, wasn’t acknowledged by waitstaff for 10 minutes. The time is now 7:50 and we finally get the drinks we ordered. 4 stars.
We ordered the calamari to start as an appetizer, ordered at 7:40, 8pm it makes an appearance. The taste, as if the oil it was fried in hadn’t been changed in over a week, it tasted dirty and burnt almost. 3 stars.

8:20 our main shows up, an opened face steak sandwich and a Ceasar salad and some French fries. Fries, cold and stale and only a few whole pieces the rest were the bits and ends. The steak sandwich “open face” was basically smotheeed in steak sauce. The ceasar salad… I had romaine lettuce butts throughout it, making the whole thing extremely bitter. The dressing flavorless and watered down. 2 stars.

Overall the food was well below what you’d expect for a place right on the marine, the wait times were also though the roof for basic acknowledgment.
