Stopped by the Beef‑A‑Roo drive‑thru in Machesney Park and had one of the best fast‑food experiences I’ve had in a long time. Corin was the absolute star of the visit. From the moment we pulled up, they were upbeat, confident, and genuinely helpful, not just taking the order, but guiding it.
Corin offered suggestions that were spot‑on, and even recommended a couple of upgraded options that turned out to be spectacular. You could tell they knew the menu and cared about making sure we got something we’d love.
What really sealed the moment was the manager being out by the ordering speaker working on the signage. Even they chimed in to tell us how great Corin is and honestly, they weren’t exaggerating. It’s rare to see that kind of teamwork and pride right at the drive‑thru window.
Fast, friendly, and unexpectedly memorable. Corin made the whole stop feel like more than just grabbing food it felt like great service done right.

Seems to be a busy and popular eating spot. It was my first time. The person taking orders was very friendly. For me it is no less important than the food itself. Ambiance is very interesting with different shades of antlers They don’t have #halal food but #halal food lovers will find some good #seafood options. I tried Mahi Mahi sandwich and the piece of the lightly charred #MahiMahi was of good size and excellent.

UPDATE: They say they want to make it right but after contact and filling out the survey from the receipt, I still have NOT been contacted. DO BETTER BEEF A POO. The old owners should have never sold! What a disgrace.
Don’t waste your money. Staff doesn’t listen to what you order, combines your order with another persons in the drive thru then “corrects it” only to not get what you ordered. The burger was so burnt half of it went to the trash. AND THEY DID NOT PUT ANY BEEF A ROO SALT ON THE FRIES…NO SALT AT ALL….that is what beef a roo experience is about.

$26 for 2 good burgers. 1 old cold fry. 1 old cold cheese fry. I asked for extra cheese and confirmed it at the window. No extra cheese. The receipt said it had it and so did the guy at the window. I asked for a chocolate mint shake and got chocolate. (The receipt said chocolate) This would’ve been an honest mistake if the fries were fine but at this point you only got 2 out of 5 things right on my order.

Super sick and asked the manager for the largest water cup with the food I paid for. I was told I had to take the kids cup or be charged. Just seemed like a terrible rule to uphold when someone is literally just trying to survive the day.

Great place. Great food. Very busy. Manager truly knows how to run a team of kids. Quality food takes time people. You want to be in and out 5 min McDonalds is down the street. You want to get a quality meal for a quality price this is the place to go. Great job Hayley and the young lady making those $1 potatoes. Had a very happy wife when I got home.
