Found this place by chance, but what a blessing! Probably the best salsa and chips I can recall having anywhere. Salsa is made fresh. My chicken enchiladas were delish and ample…couldn’t even finish them. Quite reasonable (~$13). The chef and the bartender/waitress were wonderfully friendly. There was a glitch with one order and they cheerfully made it right in record time and then wouldn’t let us pay for it. Hope we get the opportunity to return.

I really liked this little! We were passing through and stopped in. I think it goes by another name now. Its small and cozy. Staff were friendly and personable. I had the best freshly made salsa…wish I had the recipe. Food was great, large portions. If you are in the area you should try it!

Not sure how it took me 4 years of living in New Hartford to find this place, but I finally did. Tiny little place with just a few tables and a bar, but they do an amazing job of serving and cooking great Mexican food. Guac was as good as I’ve ever had — perfect in texture and flavor. (Long time Mexican friend of mine always makes it fresh and this was the closest I’ve ever come to hers.) You choose your entree and decide what veggies to add to the protein — I had a burrito with shredded beef, tomato, onion, jalapenos, and black olives. Get the habanero cream on the side — trust me on that if you like spicy food. My wife had the enchiladas and they looked amazing — she loved them. Oh and…absolutely terrific margaritas. Get them with the fresh lime and agave for sure!!!

Love this place! Lacey is great and so is her servers. I have been coming here since they opened and will keep coming! Love the Gilson, which is next door, and it’s a super cute little spot for authentic Tacos. Don’t forget the creamy habenero sauce! It’s everything!!

Stopped by for the first time a few days ago. The place is small but feels cozy and is decorated nicely. The bartender was great and provided us with quick service. Will definitely be back!

First the woman who answered the phone had a nasty attitude, wasn’t helpful when I asked questions. Then the food was not good at all. Very bland, didn’t even taste seasoned or Mexican for that matter. I can bet my life that this isn’t authentic and that this place isn’t actually owned or run by Mexicans bc the food doesn’t come close. I feel bad leaving bad reviews, if the lady on the phone wasn’t so nasty I wouldn’t have and I’m only being honest. Not to mention the prices should be updated on the menu. They shouldn’t be charging so much for sub par food. $8 for 2 empanadas? Menu says $6 so they went up a great deal and they aren’t worth $1 with the taste being dry and bland. They didn’t even bother to mark the empanadas as beef or chicken bc we ordered both and this was a take out order so we had to rip it open to see who was whose. Just all around not worth it I won’t be coming back

Very large portions and I’m thinking some of their food may be good based on the reviews, but don’t get the enchiladas if you like traditional Mexican food. They’re made with flour tortillas, meat and beans, some sort of (terrible) ranchera sauce. I always get enchiladas because I love corn tortillas, I wish I knew. BIG waste of money…in the garbage it goes. But the side order of beans (dishes don’t come with anything) were delicious. and the chicken (I picked out) had good flavoring.
