Rinconcito Miami #2 restaurant, located in South Kendall on SW 137th Ave and SW 160th Street.
They serve Cuban style dishes like palomilla steak, rice and beans to cuban sandwiches. We had the cuban sandwich and fricases de pollo with white rice and black beans, simply delicious! Also, the cafe con leche and colada coffee is very good.
The dining area is spacious, there is counter seating and the service was great. The pricing is reasonable, meals cost about $15. In Miami this is a good place for Cuban cuisine.

I recently started having lunch at the restaurant and always a pleasant experience as the staff is beyond attentive and the food is spectacular. Was there this past Thursday and ordered the Carne con Papas entree. Oh my goodness. Wish I could have taken seconds for the next and enough to share to with a second person at the same time. There was so much of it that I took the remainder home for dinner

We did a corporate meeting at this place and the true is they were amazing. The food and the service they offer go above the standards.

Food was just edible. Fried rice was bit greasy and tasted like rice with soy sauce over white rice.

I love this place, Lily took me out for lunch, she wanted me to try Yaku soup, it is beef soup with Yucca , Malanga and other Vegetables with juicy beef , I think it is flank steak in pieces. enjoyed the soup, plus ordered a dessert , forgot to ask the name, it is custard with sugar icing on top, that was so delicious, then came the Expresso , overall th experience was wonderful, good service, friendly people.

I have been buy food here for over 10 years but the last 6 month has gone from bad to horrible the steak in a pot is hard, the seasoning is acidic the rice is hard the fried plantain are as hard as a rock. It is a shame that the complaints just fall on deaf ear over and over again and the solution is let me refund you the money as a favor.

I ventured into this supposed “Miami’s Favorite Cuban Restaurant” with a hopeful heart. The place was eerily quiet, save for the staff. No music, no TV, just an unsettling silence. The restroom was a sorry sight – paper towel-less and sporting a toilet seat that seemed to be contemplating a daring escape. Smudged windows added to the overall ambiance of neglect.

The menu, though, promised simple breakfast fare at a price that raised an eyebrow. Despite the less-than-inviting surroundings, the server was a ray of sunshine. I had my heart set on a classic: two eggs, bacon, and a side of grits. But just as I was about to savor my first sip of coffee, a culinary catastrophe unfolded. No grits? No estimated wait time? The offered alternatives of fries or hashbrowns were a non-starter.

Gritless, I departed, my hunger pangs growing louder with each step. It’s a shame, really. I had high hopes for this place. But sometimes, even the most promising of restaurants can fall short.
