I ordered take out for lunch, and have to say I am so disappointed in the portion, especially when considering the price.
Not only that but it was barely lukewarm.

Can’t say I’ll be back.

Glad they remodeled it. It looks great! Service was awesome by the girls who definitely work as a team. Fresh good food at reasonable prices. I had the Small Pork Sandwich meal that came with 2 sides and a large drink. Hubby had the Pork Platter and delicious Jalapeño Poppers with ranch sauce.

Dales has been around for over 60 years. Service is quick and the atmosphere is fine for a small place like this but the bbq is lacking. The sliced beef is NOT cut by hand but by machine and dry with no bark. The ribs were overcooked as well. Sure do miss my Texas bbq

I ordered take out and it was great. I really liked their coleslaw. It’s not too sweet or too celeryy like some places. The mild sauce is very tangy and not sweet. I think I will try the sweet sauce next time. Their combo specials are a good deal. I do wish I could get coleslaw and baked beans though instead of the fries. I’ll be back soon.

I ordered a smoke Turkey sandwich. Half of the turkey was warm and the other half was cold like they just took it out of the refrigerator. The lady at the front desk super nice took my order right away. Took about 3 to 5 minutes to get my food to go. I ate in the parking lot. So that’s no reason for my sandwich to be. Ice cold.

The service was good. Had the half chicken with a sweet potato side. The chicken was dry. It seemed to have been sitting under a heating lamp for a while. The atmosphere was good, it smelled delicious, very rustic. The bathroom doors seemed to imply that women talk too much.

Pulled pork was excellent and very tasty even without sauces. Coleslaw is excellent, the beans were just average, nothing special about them. I also had the sliced beef. Not particularly impressed, good smoke flavor but very dry and no fat layer at all. Now I know a lot of you will say that you don’t want fat, and you would be right, but the fat is what makes the meat moist and tasty. I have heard the ribs are very good so I will have to try those next visit. Hopefully better than the beef.

The service was great, but the food wasn’t. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and I had the chicken/ribs combo. We both were sick at our stomachs before we got home in Stuart. If we didn’t have 2 restrooms it would of been bad. Probably can you tell us the worst barbeque I have ever had!!!

Come on Dale…..you can’t be what Florida considers BBQ!!!! I ordered the chicken and spare rib platter…….i got one teeny tiny leg and one (one) sparerib. Just one. I felt like Chris Rock asking….”how much for one rib”. I have my answer 14.95. Shame on you guys.

BBQ place that has the feel of a 50s or 60s Florida coast restaurant. Very clean, simple, picnic inside style.
Staff is very friendly and the food is a pretty good deal.
I got a combo platter for $15.95. Ribs, sliced beef, sliced pork, two sides and corn bread.
BBQ is Carolina style, cooked without too much sauce or rub and served that way. You get to add your choice of sauce at the table. Like most Carolina BBQ sauce is very vinegary vs spicy, even for hot.
Okra was a treat I haven’t had for a while and tasty.
Sliced beef and pork were decent enough but the ribs stood out.
Mac and cheese and the cornbread were ok but nothing to right home about.
Overall a good experience. I’d eat here again.
