Went on a Saturday 11am. Nobody at the front desk, we seated in the waiting area. It’s not first come first served, by the time front desk person came he assisted the customers who just came and not us.
We ordered a T bone steak and eggs, sirloin steak tips, mashed potatoes and two pancakes. Order arrived after 20 minutes. My husband ordered a medium rare T bone steak and eggs and he likes the pancakes. I had the Sirloin steak tips well done but it was served mixed with medium rare I see blood and it is chewy. I know it’s not a steakhouse. We came here to try the pancakes but also want to eat something meat. The bread was delicious and the mashed potato was smooth and buttery.
By the time we are done, we wanted to pay and leave. We waited for awhile but see no staff, my husband approached the front desk person just to let them know we are done and ready to pay but the person didn’t do anything. After waiting we finally saw our server. We still left a tip as a courtesy despite the experience.

I stopped by this IHOP location in Vallejo for dinner last Saturday 2/7/26, craving something comforting and delicious, and wow—they absolutely delivered! I went straight for the world-famous buttermilk pancakes and the Breakfast Sampler (because who says you can’t have breakfast for dinner?).
The pancakes were everything you’d hope for: incredibly fluffy, golden-brown on the outside, and melt-in-your-mouth soft inside. They were cooked perfectly—not too dense, not greasy, just pure pancake heaven. I got the classic stack with butter and warm syrup, and each bite was pure bliss. They’re hands down some of the best pancakes I’ve had at any IHOP.
Then there’s the Breakfast Sampler—such a winner for dinner! It comes loaded with two eggs (I got mine over easy), crispy hickory-smoked bacon, juicy pork sausage links, a thick slice of ham, hash browns, Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the sausage had great seasoning, and the hash browns were crispy on the edges. It was the ultimate hearty, satisfying meal that hit every comfort food craving.
Our server was super friendly and quick, the restaurant was clean and welcoming even in the evening, and the food came out fast without any mix-ups. For a reliable spot that’s open late and serves breakfast all day, this Vallejo IHOP is a total gem. I’ll definitely be back soon—probably for more pancakes!

The International House of Pancakes is one of the classic all American breakfast spots and has been open at this location for many years. If you’re looking for pancakes and breakfast all day this is your place. Located near Costco this is a great place to go all day long. We actually came here Thanksgiving morning for breakfast. Our server was great and super helpful, the kitchen got a little backed up but it was fine. I got the bacon avocado Benedict with seasonal fruit, my mom got the 2 x 2 x 2 which is 2 eggs, a choice of protein and 2 pancakes. My dad got the T-bone steak and eggs and it comes with 3 pancakes. My dad also ordered toast on the side. They even sell crepes and sandwiches and salads of you’re not feeling a full on breakfast.

Had the farmhouse breakfast, I was amazed at how much food was on my plate. The service was amazing, Ariel was incredibly polite and even took the time to make me a fresh pot of coffee, as a Marine I am particular about fresh coffee. The atmosphere was great and I was surprised at how clean it was, it was clear the place was well managed.

This place has a family-friendly ambiance. It is ♿️ accessible. I ordered green tea along with the spinach and mushroom omlet with bacon inside no horseradish. Hashbrowns were served on a second plate. Both were served quickly with a smile and tasted great. Will be back to try the new pancake flavor of the month. I ❤️ that they have the QR code right on the table to access the rewards program.
