First time, there, and I was blown away. Beautiful, spacious restaurant and everything was delicious. Got crazy jalapeno, 2 combo lunch specials of sushi, a bowl of pad Thai and a crab bun, and all of it was under $70. Really love how they do their sushi. I would say they use fresh ingredients and do the rice/sushi ingredients with just the right ratio. It’s quality!
Also, the server, Adrianna, is an excellent server and has a bright future ahead. She made an already great experience even better. I’ll be seeing you guys again, soon!

Not my first time at Phat Boy Sushi. But it is the first time I was disappointed. I sat outside with my two daughters. Salmon nachos are delicious and spicy. It was good on all levels, crunchy, full of texture and flavor. Overall, it’s definitely a great appetizer that can also serve as an entrée. The sushi rolls are not so much. We ordered the Miss Liz and the trio. Both tasted like old rice, as if they had been sitting for a while. The fish tasted fresh, but the rest of the ingredients didn’t meet my standards. They fell apart before we could even move them. The server didn’t say which was which. Didn’t really clean off the tables unless we handed her something. Asked us if we wanted sauce after we received our sushi. Walked away, only eating half. I’ll continue to go to the other spots. This one just wasn’t it.

I went to Phat Boy Sushi in Davie with my boyfriend and ordered three different sushi rolls. We kind of forgot that we’re not big fans of raw sushi, lol, so that part wasn’t really for us. That said, the nighttime atmosphere is really cool and fun, with a nice vibe to hang out and enjoy the evening. The place feels lively and trendy, making it a good spot for drinks or a casual night out, even if raw sushi isn’t your thing.

We got the Crispy Shrimp sandwich, lunch sushi special, and chicken Katsu.
The crispy shrimp sandwich was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Has a little kick to it and is messy but I think that’s what makes it so good!

Such an amazing restaurant. We had the best three rolls in my opinion. They all complemented each other! The service was good and our waiter was attentive. We didn’t have to wait to be seated at all, but the rolls took 25 minutes. The ambience of the restaurant was Lively and it was steady with customers. We will definitely be coming back!

The sushi also did not meet my expectations in terms of taste and quality. On the positive side, the wine I had was very good. Overall, it was still a letdown.

✨✨First time visit…our waiter – Dakota- was superb which made the entire dining experience pleasant. My partner and I shared the edamame for an appetizer with garlic and slight heat as well as the phat girl roll. Both items were delish.
