The bacon cheeseburger was good. The mashed potatoes with the salmon seems microwaved by the look and the hardness of the top of the potatoes. The salmon didn’t seem fresh. The server was great. The atmosphere was good. I plan to return.
Second trip: I ordered rubs. They were ok. The picture on the menu showed ribs fully covered in sauce. The ribs that were served had sauce poured atop and didn’t cover the ribs had to ask for more sauce. The funnel cake was very over cooked and there was so little powdered sugar the cake just looked spotted. See the picture attached. We lifted the cake to rub our finger along the plate to accumulate enough sugar to taste. We sent it back. There was not enough sauce for the cheese sticks. Not sure why we had do ask for additional sauce for everything we ordered. This was a hard outing.

Really good time at Ruby Tuesday! The food was delicious, the server (I believe his name was Austin) was charming and attentive. Anticipated most of our needs before we even said something.

I took my visit on a Saturday to Ruby Tuesday’s and before I get into my review I have to say, it is exactly what I expected.

I came in with a large party and the staff seemed a little surprised by this. I say this mostly because in a rush to create a space large enough to accommodate us they broke a salt shaker, but also because they only had one other table so the staff wasn’t really doing anything.

We then ordered drinks and our server got a few of ours wrong but we didn’t make anything of it – i was also told the sweet tea wasn’t great. From what I was told the people in my party also enjoyed the salad bar. However the hot food left so much to be desired.

I got the five cheese burger and it was fine. Some members of my party got the fried mushrooms and the potato skins. I was told the mushrooms were okay and the potato skins tasted old and as though they were fried in dirty oil.

Then came the chicken dish which was bad on many levels: the first being price and portion. For an $18 dollar chicken entree the chicken portion was pretty sad. They got a double but it just looked like someone cut a single breast in half, on top of this it was dry. The mashed potato portion was not only also bad but clearly microwaved and looked unappealing to say the least. The broccoli was okay but again, microwaved.

The biggest disappointment was the service. Our server was not very attentive from the very start. We asked for an extra ranch, he didn’t bring it. We asked for extra sauce for the chicken, he didn’t bring it. We asked again for the sauce and finally he brought it out, but not before we had someone walk up to him next to the service window to ask for this. This whole experience was slow and frustrating but I have to admit, I expected it to be bad.

Ruby Tuesday’s used to serve great fresh food and have great service, about a decade ago. Since then everything has deteriorated. From the food quality down to the dated interior. Considering all this, it is no mystery why the number of locations have drastically declined. I would not be surprised if this one is next on the list.

My wife and I came here a few nights ago when they had their burger special. Best value for burgers in town, not to mention delicious. Brandon was our server, he was patient explaining the specials and suggested the coconut shrimp, which was awesome! Exceptional service to say the least!!

I arrived and I told them the name of the pickup order and was told finishing that up just waiting on a couple items. I had waited quietly for 15 minutes, so I asked, how much longer, I waited 10 more minutes so asked nicely, how much longer and got told its coming rite up. So after 30 minutes I asked how much longer and at that time I was told the more I asked the longer it will be. That sure got some giggles out of the staff..Maybe because Im a senior, maybe when I asked for management after thirty minutes and then talk down upon.. I truly dont know why I was treated this way. And then told I was out of line just for asking how much longer.. So when forty two minutes came up, I left.. it was the most unprofessional and worst experience I’ve ever had in any restaurant in my life. All but one young man was very professional and kind to me, But the rest of The staff was just absolutely terrible. All that over me asking, how much longer. There was only two people in the whole restaurant..I truly hope that they have cameras in there. I hope Top management reviews and listens to how I was treated.. I only hope no one else doing pickup orders goes through what I went through.. Management should be able to do much better than this.

First time at this location. The place needs updating. Some of the seats have rips and tears. Not enough servers here either the place was at the most 25% capacity but took the only server se time to get to me. I wanted the fish and chips but were put at 3:50 PM ordered the burger at 9.99. I agree with the reviewer who commented about the salad bar. I don’t see $13.99 value for the “endless salad bar” . Ordered a seltzer with looks like old limes. This was the cheeseburger special. What do you think?
Second time at this location. $6,49 Grilled fish special with French fries and seltzer with limes. Much better price and quality. Better experience.

The whole experience was a mess. We waited over an hour and a half, and the waitress messed up all of my groups’ drink orders multiple times. After waiting almost 2 hours we got our food and the majority of it was RAW!! 2 hours of waiting, and it’s still raw??? I would recommend the Arby’s across the street rather than this place. Don’t Eat Here Ever!!!

Well, Ruby’s is an American family dining institution. Here’s what happened on December 31, 2025 in Wilmington, NC. Arrived a little after 4 pm. Looked like capacity was around 150 customers. The place was empty. Ordered my favorite New Belgium IPA, but out and had to settle for a lesser beer. Ordered the Thursday special, half rack of baby back ribs. Nope, out of ribs. Ordered a smash burger which was OK. The salmon in wife’s salmon bowl was great, but the bowl looked liked it just a little salad bar lettuce with a few pieces of rice. For $18 we didn’t feel the love. And these folks had to look for a little cup of ketchup for the fries. Out of ketchup?

The tables and booths were clean but worn and interior lighting reminded me of the 70s and 80’s. I enjoyed that atmosphere – growing up during that time. I can see younger folks not understanding that ambience.

The service was great, Bethany was fantastic, checked on us, had a pleasant personality, and a great sense of humor. The food management, or lack of, wasn’t her responsibility.

Based on what my wife and I saw, most of their business last evening was takeout.

Overall, this place needs help, and we likely won’t be going back.

So Ruby Tuesday has been around for a looong time. I’ve seen it go through alot of changes from coast to coast. But it’s still like going home for a good affordable meal. I stopped in the Wilmington NC location and was greeted by most of the staff on duty from servers to the amazing funny bartender Jessica (who makes a mean extra dry martini) to the adorable manager Lynette. Thursday night $9.99 burger special includes endless trips to the salad bar, the rack of ribs is so tender and full of flavor, my skewerless steak kabobs were tender and taste. We were having such a great time chatting with tables around us we ordered another round. My only suggestion would be to hang some tvs so we could have watched the game.

Went there today after a kids soccer match. From our other experience at another one this one was hands down the best one we’ve been too. We got seated when we got there. The bar tender was the server. He took our drink order and came back to get the order we got an app first before that came out we had small plates and extra napkins. The app came out fast and hot. The food all came out at one time and everything was great. We never had to ask for our drinks to be filled if they were low they got filled up. We didn’t have to ask for a refill. We ask for a to go box and we had it in matter of minutes. Hands down we would go back to this one when and if we have time. It w a s great
