The server was great, very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately they were out of ingredients to make a Mojito or a Moscow Mule. The drink I settled on tasted fine, but was nothing special. Food presentation was great! Food was bland and something on it tasted like it had gone bad. I mainly left a review to show the new menu since it looks like it has changed from the one posted a year ago.

Laura was absolutely AMAZING, me and some friends/family came from California for a wedding and spent a few days at the resort and we had the pleasure of being well taken care of by Laura the bartender at Mallards. She was so personable and very accommodating to our different taste in drinks and mocktails as we had a big group. she made our time all the more special and we would absolutely come back and hope to see Laura again.

Really enjoyed eating here! Laura is so nice and friendly! My boyfriend and I loved our food and look forward to coming back again. We got to make new friends here and had the best service! I highly recommend coming to this spot to eat as well as play some golf!

Was hesitant to come here because of the other reviews, but I cannot agree with them. It’s a great place with a beautiful location and friendly, helpful staff. The food was good – we tried stew, fish and chips, chowder, corned beef, etc., and all was good.

It was very confusing to find the entrance, no one greeted us, no sign to seat yourself, nothing. So we walked to the bar and waited in line for about 20 minutes to get a drink, the bartender was rude and ignored us, no other service was available. The bartender complained about how live music brings everyone in, so another customer said, “oh is this unusual?” And he said no, it happens every time. Mind you, only the tables outside were full, there were only a couple inside that had people sitting down… So if the bar/restauraunt is expecting an influx of customers, why can’t it be properly staffed? The drink was fine, nothing special. We didn’t even end up ordering food and left for several reasons. One, the service was horrible, two, the menu had very basic options and three, the food looked rather gross on other people’s plates and four, there was no way to order unless we wanted to spend another 25+ minutes in line at the bar. Wouldn’t recommend. And wont ever be back. 🙁 So bummed because the patio is beautiful and the views are gorgeous! It could be a wonderful spot!

Had a great time! What a nice view from the outdoor setting area. Laura did a wonderful job and had so much knowledge of the area to offer. Food could sure use some work ordered a medium rare burger it was way over done not even eatable.

Mallards is where we went for lunch to celebrate our 29th anniversary. Jonathan, our bar tender and server, treated us with great attention to detail. I enjoyed the Caesar salad I ordered, it was excellent. My husband ordered his regular choice of a cheese burger.
Mallards’ outdoor setting is spectacular.
I am grateful for Jonathan’s service and warm personality. Come and visit. I hope you enjoy it too.

The food was not very tasty. The Cesar salad was ok. The nachos were burned and stuck to the paper. The server was nice but this restaurant was totally understaffed due to Hood to Coast run. The only redeeming feature of this location is the view from the back patio onto the golf course.
