Hidden GEM! We stopped here on our route home from vacation. After eating out for days this small business hit the spot with its “ just like grandma used to make “ dishes. My family of four had the fried fish and chicken, cabbage, green beans, mashed potatoes, macaroni and the flat cornbread. Every single thing we ate was AMAZING! If you are looking for a good home cooked meal with amazing hospitality with a side of friendliness stop in. Kendrick greeted us with a warm hello and the biggest smile that said so much about his work environment. Thanks for sharing your kind heart with our family. God bless!

RECOMMEND!!! 20/10 my neighbor kept telling me about this place but during the storm last September I thought she took me there, turns out it was a different place that was no where near the flavor of Taylor’s. The food looked so good I ordered another plate to go. I ordered the pork chop meal, 2 chops with 2 sides for $11.50. Then I got the ribs to go, 3 ribs 2 sides and both with hoe cakes, plus I added a link of sausage. ALL ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Sides were Mac n cheese with green beans and sweet corn with potato salad. I can’t rave enough about the delicious food. As a foodie ALL bbq places in GA should have those sides plus all the other sides they have. Total recommend… this is the most I’ve ever written on a restaurant that was good and posted immediately, I usually wait a few days( I left one in Augusta that was a bad review and I let them have it the food was so bad) thank you to the FANTASTIC staff at Taylor’s, you have a customer in me…

Soul food to die for this place was amazing and talk about southern hospitality they had it all. The food was the staff was awesome. No waiting took 5min had a whole plate of food and prices were great. Under 20 bucks and my stomach about to explode I’m so full. And don’t forget the cake.

Happy, roadtrip find – found this gem when searching for a bite while on a roadtrip. We try to always find mom & pop places but Taylor’s is one of our best finds, ever!!! So much great food – we literally could have gotten a single meal and both walked out stuffed. We will return, even if it requires a detour!

If you’re in the mood for some good soul food where the serving sizes are over the top..well Taylor’s is where you want to be!! Honey… the hamburger has to be beyond a quarter pound!! The catfish is moist and if you like sweet bbq pull pork & hash..this is it! The desserts are delicious too! You must visit if you’re in the area!!

There is great food in big portions except for the cake. Its portions are small for $3.25. The cake needs to be at least twice the size for the price. And it could have tasted a little better also. I haven’t tried the slices of pie yet. I will be back.

New person fixed my delicious rutabagas. When I was on way to Augusta I realize I did not have my cornbread! There is no way to eat rutabagas without cornbread or rice. And I had neither. I called the restaurant and was pleased to know they would set me something to the side if I came back through. And sure enough they did!
