We are a hungry Chinese American family of five. It has been 6 days in Italy. No food, no water. Just pizza and pasta. We were on our way to another pizza place. Then, like a lake in the desert, Koi Japanese Restaurant appeared. The AYCE saved us, we bussed down sashimis, yakitoris, ramens, edamames, with a beautiful view of the Duomo, at a toe tickling price. 10/10 would recommend

This place is pure scam. Its not 14.90 for lunch as acvertised, but minimum 21 euro you will pay. I choose other buffets high end over 20. Lady is screaming rude not welcome,good business strategy

I have been to many sushi places around Italy, and hands down this one is the worst i have been. The food is tasteless, the food comes one plate an hour so you get full faster. Don’t go on Sundays or holidays! We have been here five times. The food is good when they are not stressed. This time we sat outside and watched how the tables around us were served. One table didn’t even receive their drinks after 30 minutes of waiting. We didn’t receive 20% of that which we ordered and the warm plates were served cold. The waitresses are obviously overworked and there is confusion and chaos which was confirmed to us as we paid and asked if they could use someone extra just for the weekends. The answer was “no, it’s a mess” ! I figure the place is full and they charge €14.90 plus €2.00 Coperta per person. We were there for over two hours and didnt receive what we ordered. So they make money whether you get what you order or not. So its really “all you can eat from what you get”!
The waitress agreed its a mess but they contunue to make money with poorly rolled sushi rolls and cold shrimps. They need extra help on the weekends to assist on getting the finished plates out as soon as possible.

Nice restaurant nearby the city center, a good place for sushi and a great way to escape the tourism. The sushi for lunch cost 14,90 excl. coperta and drinks. The only thing i did not like was that the deserts, that on the menu are included, seemed to be excluded from the menu. The menu is available by download. It would have been nice of the menu was a bit more varied. Maybe because of Covid, that i can understand the download. Service is good and friendly. The sushi is good and nice. Would recommend this restaurant. Because of the menu 4/5.

Don’t spend your time and money here. They say you can order as much as you want but the dishes arrive so late you manage to order 6-7 dish. The quality of fish and meat was the worst I’ve ever had. The sashimi is awful, shrimps are not cleaned, salmon tastes weird. We paid around 60EUR for 2 and we could definitely have something better for that amount.
