I was already a fan of La Morena from their Colfax location, but this new one completely blew me away. It’s got more of a true restaurant vibe — super clean, welcoming, and beautifully decorated with gorgeous flowers hanging from the ceiling (yes, they’re fake — but fabulous!).✨
The energy inside is amazing. The staff was friendly and most speak Spanish, which made the experience feel even more authentic (and no worries if you don’t — everyone was super accommodating). As someone who speaks Spanish, I loved hearing it throughout the night.
Now let’s talk about the food! I already knew what to expect from the menu, but it was my partner’s first time — and watching his face light up when they brought out his pineapple dish was everything!
We did have a little mix-up with the food not being hot when it first came out, but honestly, we were so caught up in enjoying each other’s company that it didn’t even bother us at first. Once we mentioned it to our server, she immediately took care of it — super professional, warm, and made us feel valued.
The real cherry on top? The surprise celebrations happening around us! One table was celebrating a wedding or engagement with dancers in colorful costumes, and another had inflatable costume characters for a birthday party — so much joy and good energy!
It was one of those nights that leaves you smiling all the way home. I absolutely plan to come back — next date night is already in the works. 10/10 recommend!

Had a great experience here. This place has a massive menu! Seafood, chicken or steak, tacos, soups… the list goes on. Even sushi! I thought my meal was very tasty and it came out quick. The servers were very attentive and kind. The server even gave us a card for music requests which they played – thought they was a great way to keep the guests involved. I will 100% be back.

The customer service was exceptional! The lady was very nice and very attentive. The waitress made sure she checked on us frequently. The restaurant is huge and can fit alot of people also. The issue for me was with the food. I had the chicken mole, it was too sweet for me. The mole im use to is not as sweet and savory. I also had the carne asada burrito. The meat in the burrito was not seasoned and the guacamole was on the browner side. I would come back for the drinks and atmosphere but the food i will have to be drunk to eat.
