Coming from Miami, this food was phenomenal! But honestly, I almost left the restaurant because the service did not match the caliber of the food or atmosphere. I guess the first clue should have been seeing that they charged for bread on the appetizer menu—amazing restaurants don’t worry about charging for bread, at least non of the restaurants in Miami that serve tomahawk steaks do.
Our waitress was cute and nice, but she only came to bring us water and never returned until I had to ask the hostess for her. The hostess even asked me who my waitress was, which I thought was funny—like, shouldn’t she know who the waitress is? Anyway… it had been 15 minutes since she brought the water, and I only know that because I took a picture of the restaurant and sent it to a friend with a timestamp.
She finally took our order, and it wasn’t until 53 minutes later that we got our entrees. The place was busy, but not every table was full, and it was a weeknight—not some crazy weekend. For my spouse to complain about the wait was understandable, and honestly, the fact that a manager never even came to our table made it even more unacceptable.
If I lived here, I’d definitely try it again to see if the wait time is any better and go from there. Check it out—but don’t be disappointed when you have to wait for your food.

Great food and atmosphere. Be ready to spend some money. They have good drinks as well.

Very curated 1930’s/ modern design style. High quality of food and drinks. The cocktails are creative and the quality consistent. Food is good. Wine by the glass terrible, cheap brands at very expensive price. Bad selection for the wine serve by glass only. Waitress are attentive, explain everything and with very nice approach to clients.

Well down town dining has been pretty uninspiring – ribeye was great better than morries by far (feels like they have slid the last few years) but we got there at 545 just finished dinner 8 (pm) with a to go dessert. Table of 6. Took a ridiculously long time for food service drink service almost 20 mins for dessert which we all know they ain’t making the custard right now nor the cake these are prepped items. Don’t waste your time if you don’t have time to waste.

High end restaurant, fantastic food for the money. Only negative I can give is the Brandy Old Fashion. Not the way I am used to them tasting. Must be their own twist on it. Regardless, we’ll worth your time and money. Will go there again!

Atmosphere is a vibe. Super cool. This is my 5th time here. The first 4….2 were great…..2 were sub par, at best. The food usually isn’t the issue. Tonight? Meh….the mushroom risotto was not good. The steaks were made to look like they were cooked to order. HOWEVER, they forgot our order. I ordered a filet, medium…..charred on the outside, very rare on the inside. 60 minutes from order to food on table. Didn’t see our server for 45 minutes. Our order was literally forgotten.

To start the evening, I sat at the bar. 10 minutes from sit down to being asked my drink order. 5 minutes later, I’m told they are out of the bourbon I ordered. I order my 2nd option. 10 minutes later I get my drink. Also, our reservation was for 7:15. We were seated 20 minutes late. Not a big deal; however, with everything else, it just kind of compounded the problems. The service is abysmal….all around. But, I noticed, if you’re buddies with the wait staff, they cut deals on drinks. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, but at least provide timely service to others.

I have tried and tried and tried Crawford’s…..and after this visit, well, I’d find any other restaurant than this one. Don’t waste your money. The experience isn’t worth the price.

I recommend the meatball stroganoff. I also had a glass of pinot noir, as recommended by the bartender. We ate at the bar because the rest of the restaurant was reserved. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Gentle lighting and music with fancy decor. The bartender checked back at appropriate intervals.

Food was really great! The atmosphere and lighting was awesome and made for a really fun night! What I really need to rave about is our bartender- Moriah! She was amazing! Knew the menu so well, recommended amazing cocktails and was such a nice and bubbly person! Will 100% be back because of her!

Located in a historic building, the food and drinks are both exceptional. This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or bring someone for a nice date. We had the Oysters Rockefeller, Delmonico Ribeye, the Dry-Aged New York Strip, and the Dulce de Leche for dessert. Everything was very high quality and delicious, especially the steaks. For drinks, I would highly recommend their smoked old fashioned and espresso martini. This is one of the best restaurants in Sioux Falls and we will definitely be back!
