Visited this little gem for the first time and had a great experience.
We got the corned beef hash eggs Benedict: English muffin, corned beef, poached egg, Hollandaise sauce on top, generous portion of home fries on the side.
The eggs were cooked perfectly, and everything was completely delicious. Even the potatoes were seasoned well, which is a rarity for a diner breakfast.
Then there was the Loaded Breakfast Skillet, which was exactly as advertised. Chorizo, potatoes, corn, beans, avocado, and two beautifully sunny-side up eggs. Flavor was out of this world, with the smoky chorizo infusing the whole dish.
The ambiance is old school, charming, and cozy. Prices are reasonable, especially for the generous portions and food quality.
To top it off, our server, Jasmine, was a complete delight.
10/10 would go back.

I’ve been here twice now since they opened, once for lunch and once for breakfast. I’m not typically a diner girl, but this is a little gem. Lunch was excellent, so I came back to try breakfast. It did not disappoint. Service is friendly, quick, and the restaurant is exceptionally clean. The food comes out perfect, and they have lots of great options on their menu without it being an overwhelming, typical diner menu. So glad I tried this place out, I will definitely continue to come back!

1st time in…love the look of the old diner.
Our server Ms J was so Welcoming it felt as if we were old friends.
I had the Gyro plate, mozzarella sticks and of course had to try the chocolate milk… I was very pleasantly surprised with all…
As with any new business there are growing pains… But I believe with a couple tweaks here and there, they will soaring high and hopefully stay around serving for years to come.
Keep the faith the future is yours to achieve.
I definitely will stop in again.

We have been visiting as many local diners (NJ may have more diners than local bars but we are sampling diners as we search for new places and options for meeting up almost daily). That day we were starving after dropping in my car for service in Clinton on rt 31 North so as he pulled up onto 32 he said that we were going to stop at the first diner we found. Knowing that it would be in Washington on RT 31! The Little Town Diner surprised us as it was first!.. Once we parked in the back we discussed whether or not either of us had actually eaten inside… not sure… so we were pleasantly surprised when we got inside because they had plenty of room for us and looked clean enough as well as exactly as a NJ diner usually looks! Their menu was more expensive than expected and we had our choices identified quickly so we could try a variety to share! Once ordered the foods appeared quickly and impressed us enough to relax and enjoy the meal! Eventually a couple new diners entered. Wait staff were friendly and made suggestions about certain menu items! We stuck with the usual diner items and they all were delicious as well as nicely presented. We ate leisurely and barely finished when we got the call that my car is done… Next time we visit it will be planned so we have time for desserts… our favorite taste test. The location is not exactly close to our home, but we can certain that we will plan on eating there the next time we find ourselves heading north on Rt 31!

I am very pleased to share that my recent visit to the dinner was quite enjoyable, as it offered a cozy atmosphere that fostered a sense of community. The menu presented a wide array of options, and I found the food to be both delicious and served in generous portions.

Nothing special that set this place apart from any other diner. Ordered eggs Benedict, was completely underwhelmed. Egg was completely cooked (not how a poached egg is suppose to be). Ordered a side of corn beef hash, which had peppers and onions in it. That’s a first, and wasn’t good. Sent it back. In the spirit of respecting that it is their first week or two I guess That would be the excuse for how horrible the service was. Couldn’t find your waitress to save your life. Wish this new diner much success. Try taking some constructive criticism and do something a little different make the food a little better, stand out.
Sadly, We’re not gonna give it a second try, We made our donation and that’s that.

Wonderful service and very efficient and timely served. Breakfast is normally Amazing!! Hashbrown Potatoes(shredded) are a must to try…went on a Friday once and it was not up to par with their normal quality of our orders. Definitely go try for yourself! The lunch wraps worth every penny. It’s a small place which I view as a huge plus, because 2 seasoned servers could handle the entire restaurant with the potential to make great money. ( And don’t think I’m forgetting that a consistently great Diner takes an extreme hard working staff, the ability to make people believe that you are ALWAYS happy to serve, view complaints as constructive criticism that will only make this place a weekly stop for all who visit, and the tolerance and skills to problem solve, knowing when to hustle and when to give your regulars some extra love. This Diner has Amazing potential and what’s cool is they seem to be open to suggestion, change and just the desire to serve quality food, fresh ingredients and a positive atmosphere that makes one forget how expensive it is to eat out nowadays

This diner offers an extensive menu. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The meals are always delicious and the portions are very large. The diner is always very neat, clean and well-organized. Booth and counter seating is available. They are easily accessible along Route 31 South of Washington and offer their customers a large, free parking lot. I encourage you to stop here anytime of the day for a great meal and you will not be disappointed!

We had dinner there tonight. We had the jersey burger and a city pastrami sandwich. Both were excellent. Our waitress was excellent. For dessert we shared a slice of delicious chocolate cake. We left with a smile.
