The Mountain Sun Pub and Brewery, the Southern Sun Pub and Brewery, the Vine Street Pub & Brewery and the Longs Peak Pub & Taphouse are a family of unpretentious neighborhood gathering places. At each of our pubs, our mission is to offer five-star service, fresh, high quality pub fare and finely crafted brews for affordable prices in an environment that’s comfortable like your living room. There will never be televisions at our pubs because we want our guests to meet and discuss the world in which we live or simply to play Scrabble. Our beers have won medals across the globe, including six gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, the world’s largest beer festival.

Incredible experience here.
Met with some friends and toured a few places, we ended up having dinner here and I am super impressed.
The staff were all super friendly, and real patient as I went through the menu to figure out what I wanted to drink.
The food is incredible.

Great atmosphere and the beer was solid. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting. We all ordered burgers, and the patties tasted and looked like they came straight from the frozen aisle at Walmart. My daughters burger was raw and so was mine. For $17.50, we expected something much higher quality. Definitely disappointing for the price point. Oh and they only except cash or check! Lol we all know why!

Longs Peak Pub & Taphouse is a must, anytime that we’re in Longmont. The place is large, so finding seating isn’t a problem. The food is amazing! Over the past few years, I’ve had their pizza (delicious), burgers (equally delicious), and nachos (same). Their menu has so many options to choose from. This particular visit, I had the S.O.B. Burger. Perfectly cooked and just the right amount of spice. My wife had the Date Night Burger and said that it was delicious! The fries are hand-cut daily. The staff has always been kind and greeting. One thing I always check in a restaurant is the cleanliness of the restrooms. The restrooms at Longs Peak Pub have always been clean and well taken care of. It’s definitely a reflection of the attention to detail that they take with the entire establishment. We will definitely be returning during our next visit to Longmont. Side note: Cash Only. There is an ATM on-site. Parking can sometimes be difficult, especially with all the road construction currently going on.

Not a food review, although I am a huge fan of the SOB Burger, by far the best burger in town.
We were leaving Costco this afternoon and either a manager or the owner of the Taphouse was loading 300 lb of potatoes into her into her car because their delivery didn’t show up. I have a huge amount of respect for a small business that does whatever it takes to get the job done, rather than just say “86 fries”, even if that means a mad rush to costco an hour before the dinner rush starts on a Saturday night.

They offer weekly specials which are always incredible! The burgers and wings are to die for, and they have made to order brick oven pizzas! I personally love their salads with their in house made dressings.
This place is a must have stop if you visit or live in Longmont. You will not find better service. Ajay, Mike, Mitch, Sarah, Trinity, Sabrina, Rob, Faith, and Jay are all incredible and go above and beyond.

I recently visited Longs Peak Pub & Taphouse and really enjoyed the atmosphere. They have a nice selection of in-house brews that I sampled. The service was great, and I had a really nice time. If you are looking for a place to enjoy a local brew, this is it. Their happy hour pricing is great, both in the afternoon and later in the evening. You can get a pitcher of beer for only $6!

The food was fine. Drinks were fine. Longs Peak was somewhat busy but not really. We had 5.5 different servers….I think that was the problem, while we sat in the middle of the room everyone walked by us. We just had nachos and a salad….took 50 minutes. Mind you, the menu asks you to please leave within 90min (we get they want to turn tables)….they also took over 20min to take our $$$. That left us 10min to actually eat. Food was not good enough for us to go back, this town has tons of awesome local options.

First time in and the food was awesome. The burger was so juicy it exploded in my hand. I’ve worked next door at cheba for a year and it took me that long to find a dope burger spot, AND it’s right across the street. Oh yeah. Shout out Pearl! She did an excellent job. Will def be returning soon. Maybe tomorrow after work. lol
