Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Service was mid. The lady at the window was not nice. No sauce given for fries or chicken tenders. I was not asked what sauce I wanted. Lady at window did not make us feel wanted. Food was not anything special, same as any other fast food for burgers, chicken and fries. Nothing special here. There was no mayo on our burger.

My friend, and I visited this Whataburger later in the evening, and found quick, friendly service along with fresh food. My friend ordered a basic Whataburger which is always a winner. I ordered the newest chicken wrap. I will definitely choose a chicken wrap again on a future visit. I am not a fan of ranch dressing; they were happy to change mine to the spicier sauce.
This is a busy Whataburger but they’re clean, and give good service.

Just went to the “24/7” dine in at this store, and was told that the inside lobby was closed and for me to go through the drive through…. But it clearly had other people inside of the store still ordering food….. interesting….. going through the drive thru, I would’ve been waiting an hour to get any food as they are super slow! Definitely do not recommend the Whataburger on Woodbine Rd..

I have never been to a “fast food restaurant” that takes 45minutes to an hour from the time you order to the time you get your food at the drive thru. Not once this happens every single time! I only had one car in front of me today and still sat in the drive thru for 45 minutes.
Place needs some serious management restructure, organization, and efficiency training!

I ordered curbside pick up and it said it would be ready around 10:04-10:07…. I waited 18 mins for a chicken fajita taco. Only 1. Curbside is suppose to be quick but thats not the case. People shouldn’t have to wait 18 minutes at a fast food joint for 1 item. If I wanted to wait 18 mins I would gone in the drive thru.

The best burgers this side of Texas. Great staff and friendly atmosphere makes for a very relaxing experience. Mrs. Pernestti was very upbeat friendly and very knowledgeable on the various menu items. In my opinion she deserves a raise!

We go to this Whataburger pretty regularly but this is the third time in a row they have given me the wrong drink. I love sweet tea and get it from here, but the last three times we have gone they have given me unsweet tea. There have been times when they messed up a sandwich or forgot a fry. The people there are pretty nice but this happens way to often.

I try to eat at a place a few times before I leave a review to and every single time I come here the wait is ridiculously long. Not the line, it’s the wait. I’ve never seen a place so consistently slow. Between the slowest drive throughs and my orders being messed up consistently I can’t see any reason to come back. I can’t imagine how bad it must be on weekends. ***UPDATE*** My burger was cold right out of the window. I assume they made it before the fries and had to wait.

I went around 10:00 PM to get food for my family. The fries were nasty and old. When I pulled up to the window, the employee was extremely rude—there was no smile, no courtesy, and no sense of hospitality. I do not recommend this place and will not be returning to this location ever.
