I’m down here for work and this restaurant shares the parking lot with the hotel I’m at. The food is definitely authentic and fresh. They give generous size portions and the service is really good and helpful! Prices are very reasonable and you get more than what you pay for.

I grew up eating here for years. First in the old downtown location, then out on 224 and even their second location in Shelby. My husband and I joked that we probably single handedly kept them in business when we were dating bc we loved it so much. Sadly, today not so much. We were seated and the restaurant had maybe 4 other tables with customers. Waited about 10min just to have our drink orders taken but ordered our food at the same time. Waited another 20min for our food which came out luke warm at best. I ordered chicken fajitas (the dinner portion so that I could have extras to take home)and they were dry and even some of it was cool to the touch. My husband ordered enchiladas super rancheros that were also luke warm and the corn tortillas had harder edges. We also had 2 soft drinks and cheese sauce. We didn’t see our waiter except to take our original order and to check out after waiting a good 15min to get our check as well. Not once did they check about our meals or refills. Now I fully understand if its busy but it takes 2 seconds to ask about refills. Heck, the customers that were seated after us, in the immediate two booths behind us, had multiple visits from their waiter. Super disappointed to have such poor service and food from a place we used to love. This is actually the very first time that we both felt tipping absolutely zero was necessary. Needless to say I didn’t take my leftovers with me.

So the guy server (server#6) wasn’t bad, but once he served the dish, he was gone and never returned. So I guess you return the mediocre service with the same in tip: MEDIOCRE; FH.
The last time there, I had the Grande Burrito. This time, I ordered the Quesida Roja and a Pacifico beer. This dish was just as good as the dish I ordered before: Delicioso.

Myself and two friends stopped in late after a long day of riding motorcycles. The staff was already cleaning up and preparing to close when we arrived.
Nevertheless, they welcomed us with smiles and told us not to hurry or feel rushed. We ordered, had a drink, and within minutes, were served some of the BEST food I’ve had the pleasure of eating.
The staff was great, the food was excellent and the beer was cold, what else could you ask for.
