My first time at this location. The food and service were just what you would hope for from Sonic. Everything was hot and fresh. They were moderately busy, but I still felt like they were able to complete my order in a reasonable time. The only negative was that, after sunset, the place seemed darker than you might expect. Lots of lights were not working and much of the area around the building was completely dark – particular around back where my the drive thru speaker is, which made it all seen a little uninviting.

It’s Sonic! Who doesn’t love a good chili-cheese foot-long dog and some crispy tots? But…my dog was cool. Not cold, but barely lukewarm. UNSAT. Dog & chili should be hot! Tots were perfect.

Server girl was sweet, I even dropped her an Abe Lincoln for car-hopping, but she didn’t ask me if I needed anything else…ketchup, etc…I had only one napkin, you get the idea. I had to hit the button and ask for those items. It’s not Ruth’s Chris…but put in some effort, people!

Serve a HOT dog with HOT chili…ask if ketchup is needed, don’t skimp on napkins…check on customer who is eating in the drive-in spot. The dog looked a bit old too and a bit dry. Check out my picture.

Edit: To Sonic and all these companies that use a bot to post a generic response to a poor review encouraging people to go waste more of their time by calling 1- 800 number and clicking on a link… It’s not going to happen.

I’ve taken the time and effort to post my review on Google & Yelp where thousands of people will see it. Owners of locations should make the effort to read their own Google and Yelp reviews regularly and act accordingly if they want to keep their business running well.

My picture of an old cold, nasty hot dog should be enough to drive some positive change from an owner who really cares about their business.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding an experience at your Sonic Drive-In location (Store #374) on Taylor Street in Griffin on February 12, 2026, at approximately 5:39 PM (Receipt #322274).

I ordered two large Sonic Blasts:

A large Oreo Cookie Blast with extra Oreo

A large Turtle Truffle Nut Blast with added Oreo

When the drive-thru employee handed me the first Blast, I placed it in my back cup holder. As she handed me the second, I noticed the lid had not been secured properly. While attempting to place it in the cup holder, the top came off, and the Blast spilled upside down into my back seat.

The employee appeared confused and did not immediately acknowledge the situation. She handed me napkins, which were not helpful given the spill. I had to request that the Blast be remade. She seemed reluctant and even looked to a coworker for confirmation before proceeding. I was surprised that I had to advocate for a replacement when the issue clearly stemmed from the lid not being secured. After waiting approximately 4–5 minutes, she brought out a replacement.

What truly concerned me was the complete lack of acknowledgment, apology, or customer care displayed during the interaction. The following day, still unsettled by the experience, I returned to speak with a supervisor.

When I requested a manager at the ordering station, the response over the microphone was standoffish. The manager, Jamazianae, came out without greeting or apology. She stated she was aware of the incident and mentioned that the employee had paid for the replacement Blast. However, she repeatedly stated there was nothing she could do to rectify the situation. Her only suggestions were that I could purchase another Blast or wait until the general manager returned the following week and leave a written note.

At no point did she apologize or offer even a minimal gesture of goodwill, such as a discount or voucher. As a supervisor, I would expect some level of discretion to address customer concerns. Instead, I felt dismissed and not taken seriously.

This situation could have been avoided entirely if the lid had been properly secured or if assistance had been offered in placing the items safely. More importantly, it could have been resolved with simple professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service.

If this reflects the level of training and service standards at this location, I will strongly reconsider visiting this establishment again. I sincerely hope additional training is provided, particularly in handling customer service recovery situations.

I look forward to hearing how this matter will be addressed.

The food is good and the people who work here are cool.. but the atmosphere is off. All of the lights are out like the place is closed. The main sign is out and the backlight of the menu doesn’t work. The booths are out of order and you can only go through the drive-thru to order. It needs some work.

I placed a mobile order and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The food quality was poor — the little bit of lettuce on the sandwich was brown and soggy, and the fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The hot dog was burned on one end and raw on the other, which made it inedible.
On top of that, the shakes were packaged poorly. The lids didn’t fit properly and one of the cups had a cracked bottom. Because of that, both shakes ended up spilling in my car and on my garage floor. Overall, this order was messy, poorly prepared, and very frustrating.

Food is never fresh! There is always at least one food item wrong on every order I have placed! Do better Sonic!!!! We shouldn’t have to send our food back 3 times in 1 week to be fixed and still not be satisfied with your effortless attempt to fix the mistake!

It’s usually fast friendly service. But here lately there is one extremely rude cashier. She is in no hurry to do anything . I sat in the drive thru at the window for over 15 mins waiting on an order while the cars wrapped around the parking lot . No apologies for the wait , just rude service with attitude!

Dear GOD! Today was the worse experience for food! My fries were the bottom of the barrel/bowl, so therefore they were old, crunchy, salty, greasy, and THIN (groovy fries…supposedly). I had to open my burger to take off some of the onions because someone got a little too happy with them, and then I see my tomato that still has part of the core! Would the employees eat this!? I’ve never had a problem at this location..now I’m afraid to go back. RIDICULOUS! Beyond upset!

First of all the wait was too long! Then we ordered tots with cheese for one of our meals that was missing! When we asked for the cheese , the manager told us it would be 60 cents for cheese. We showed her on the receipt where we were charged for the cheese. Didn’t help! She continued to argue with us! Then we also ordered a burger with no tomatoes or onions, it had both as well as burnt bread for both of the sandwiches we ordered!! See picture! We will never return to this Sonic again!!!!
