This morning I went through the drive through for a cup of coffee. While waiting in line I was sitting at the first window to pay and nobody was there. So as the line progressed and 5 cars were waiting behind me. I proceeded to the pickup window and handed the girl my money to pay. She gave me a dirty look and handed me the coffee and stormed off. While I am waiting for my change she comes back and gives me another scowl and says “what? Do you need a receipt?!” I said no I’m waiting on my change. She yelled at me that I was supposed to pay at the first window! I calmly said that I would have but there wasn’t anyone there to pay. She slammed the window and stormed off again. Not exactly the best way to start off my day. I will not be going back again.
I am ALLERGIC to onions. I make sure when I do place and order that I make it clear no ONIONS…. NO sliver NO diced onions.
It’s not because I don’t want them ITS BECAUSE OF AN ALLERGIC REACTION I WILL HAVE IF CONSUMED…. why is it every time I order I get onions every dam time. And complaining at this point if useless to the store indirectly.
Are your people trained, do the go to through a food safety course, has anyone been through serve safe classes. Are they trained that they could make someone seriously sick or possible death if something is consumed that can not be consumed. It sad that simple instructions can not be followed,
This issue seriously needs to be addressed, your employees not wanting to follow a simple instructions could cost you and your company.
Food was cool and chicken nuggets tasted like old grease.
This location has gone down hill for months. Today, 7/17/24, I went through the drive through with a mobile order, there was not ONE customer in the drive thru (in front or behind me). Like usual, they have the automated voice ask about rewards then silence for minutes till your cough loudly or ask if they are there. Once I arrived to the second window there were several young women talking about their personal lives and how they NEED a manager to come from Clinton to help them.
The drive thru lady finally addresses me to say whatever your order is, it just needs more time and to pull around. I look at her like, why? There is no one behind me, no one even placing an order. If you pull me forward then one of your employees will actually have to put on their vest and bring the food out to me. But thats what they do at this location. They say whatever item you have ordered needs more time then EVENTUALLY gives you a crusty old sandwich or hash brown that definitely was not the reason you were waiting.
So I pull around to the front (you always get pulled forward, often 7-10 cars at a time if it’s lunch). I think they like to pull lots of cars then hang back in the kitchen and let them all gather up. They make no effort to allow you to have your food in a timely manner. They want to talk and hang out, they dont want people staring through their drive thru windows expecting food.
So I sat in front of McDonalds waiting and waiting for my food, like it is every time. And I got so tired of waiting while no one was even at this location that I finally went inside. The staff didnt see me but I stood there for probably 4-5 minutes. I saw my mobile bag with white van written on it the whole time. The employee picked up her vest but of course the priority was to finish her conversation with her friends where they were just complaining about how much management sucks and that they need another location to send someone.
Who ever runs this location needs to be promptly fired along with half these young women who simply refuse to do their jobs. I told them I don’t know why I had to wait for the conversations to end when Im sitting out in my car waiting and grabbed my food and left. But if they hadn’t pulled me forward when no one was even in the drive thru, I wouldn’t have had to wait for these girls to finish their complaining session about McDonald’s.
From what I hear, a new manager took over McDonald’s and people say that is why things have gotten so bad. But it has been so bad for so long, why doesn’t the people over the manager of this location do something?
If you’re eating McDonald’s, you often don’t have the money to go do something else. So to take already poor quality food and the cheapest dining experience available around here and make it extra miserable by having employees who act like it’s a burden to see customers is just annoying. The staff at this location seem emboldened and very crass about their embarrassing work ethic. In my job experiences, it wouldn’t be appropriate to carry on conversations that affect the flow of the business to this degree.
