Great American Chinese buffet with delicious food that reminds me of the taste of home. Generous portions, a wide variety of dishes, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be back again.

Came here on a friday for dinner. This place was super packed, and people were waiting for tables.

Dispite the business, the staff come clear your plates everytime you get up for more.

The selection of food is pretty wide here, starting with the sushi, which they have octopus, tuna, salmon, and even snapper, BUT NO HAMACHI!!!. The sashimi were super fresh, the fish was sweet, and super tasty, that I had 3 plates of sushi, mostly nigiri, and sashimi.

My other favorite was the steam oyster, which also seem to be a popular item, and it always get clear out by everyone pretty fast. The steam oyster with gravy sauce was enjoyable, but the staff could do a better job at removing the broken shell, and the gravy sauce could use more salty note, may be some oyster sauce, or chicken bouillion would hit the spot.

The grilled/charboiled mix clam was also enjoyable. The cheesy sauce mussle was not bad, but also could use more salty note.

I wish they have raw oyster at the cold bar, but they did not. They did have snail, chicken feet, and octopus may be, all were enjoyable. The boiled shrimp look low quality so I didn’t tried it.

The crawfish have a good cajun spice, but the crawfish texture, and flavor was no good, obviously frozen, and lost their bouncy texture and sweetness.

I tried almost all of the soup, they were all good, but my favorite was the deserve soup, taro with sago, it wasnt too sweet, and was quitew enjoyable.

They have beef rib, and kalbi too, but I didnt them.

Dinner was $35 after tax. Would definitly come back next time.

Hi, I came today around 2:30 PM, about 30 minutes before dinner time. I came specifically for the sushi, and I was charged the dinner price. I was completely fine with that because I came for the food, so the price wasn’t an issue. However, when I went to get the sushi, the chef gave me a side-eye and told me I couldn’t eat it. I explained that I was charged the dinner price, which is why I was getting the sushi, but he stayed completely silent and never apologized.

Also, we had only been eating for about 30 minutes when the server brought out the check. We hadn’t even had dessert yet. It really felt like we were being rushed out, even though there were a lot of open tables.

When I checked out, I also spoke to the person at the front, but I still never received an apology. Please train your staff because the table servers are the ones who should communicate with customers—not the chef, who doesn’t even know what the customer paid.

No complaint, probably the best buffet in east bay with the price range. Dinner expansive tho, $35 per person after tips and taxes

5 stars for the sheer variety. 3 stars for taste. 5 for price. 3 for noiseness. 5 for service. Overall 4 stars. If your priority is variety then a strong recommendation. If you prioritize taste, even if it pricier, then check around first. Maybe go to Tai Pan instead.

Its pretty fair for a buffet around here.
Its mostly Asian themed as the usual but it’s still decent.
Sushi wasn’t that good but their salmon and chicken was their best offerings in my opinion.

The lunch was pretty cheap and the variety isn’t that good but its OK.

I wouldn’t go back for lunch but maybe dinner is better.

If you’re looking for a busy all you can eat Asian seafood buffet, put Newark Buffet on the list. We came on a Saturday afternoon about 1pm to celebrate my birthday. They operate on a first come first served basis. There was a line out front, go in get a number and hang out a while. We waited about 20 mins.
We had heard things about this place from family members, and the birthday person is free with ID.
Lots of people come to celebrate birthdays.
They offer an amazing array of food options. Soups, salads, sushi, build your own stir fry, fish, shrimp, oysters, noodle dishes, rice, veggies, cookies, fruit, jello, pudding, ice cream with toppings.
Lots to choose from.
This is a pack em in move em out place, reasonable for family gatherings. Not quite or romantic

Went on a Sunday right around opening time. This place was packed and for a group of 3, expect to wait a minimum of 15 minutes. The actual food is typically buffet-quality. Sushi and sashimi is fine, enough options for you to go through at least 5 rounds. I’d load up on the sushi and meats. Soups can help clear up the grease. Overall, if you want to experience a decent buffet in the East Bay, this place will do.
