Visited the Italian Farmhouse after we visited The Common Man. The restaurants are affiliated. The Italian Farmhouse was very quaint, my son and I happened to go when our waitress was training someone. We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile. The frsh bread station is delicious and definitely a plus. My son ordered lasagna and enjoyed his meal. I ordered a bacon pizza and just thought it was ok. Nothing great and a bit undercooked for my liking. I wouldn’t order that again. The restaurant is rustic and there is outside seating. The manager was very nice and making his rounds. Our waitress was busy training so we definitely didn’t get the attention we would have expected. All in all it was good and I would visit again.

Loved the bread bar. And the pizza was a knock out!

Wonderful restaurant with great service and delicious food., While the quality of food is great, the prices were cheaper than similar restaurants., lot of dine in space with ambient lighting, very neatly maintained and reasonably sized portions

Absolutely amazing Anniversary dinner! We had two main course meals, each had one glass of alcohol beverage, hubby had a salad and unlimited bread….we paid $71 without a tip. Can’t forget the yummy peanut butter pie for dessert. It was a great atmosphere and food tasted amazing. The portions were huge. Definitely going back!

My husband, our 11 yr old son and I had a wonderful dinner here. Aubrey, our waitress, was super friendly and VERY good at her job; she welcomed us, asked if we had eaten there before, and told us the specials of the day. She also came back to check on us several times; asking how everything was, refilling our water, etc. Our (5-piece) aranchini appetizer, which was EXCELLENT, arrived soon after we finished eating our slices of the delicious homemade bread they put out for everyone to enjoy. For entrees my husband ordered the Crema Rosa w/ hot sausage – it was good, creamy…though he would have preferred the sausages to be sliced thicker, as several were paper thin. I tried the Scallop & Shrimp Puttanesca – it was very good; I loved the shrimp, the spaghetti and the puttanesca sauce, though I thought the scallops were a little undercooked. My son had the Fresh Pappardelle Bolognese – he absolutely loved it! [I had thought about ordering that, and kind of wish I had – it did look soooo good!] Only my son and I saved room for dessert; he tried the Tollhouse Brownie Sundae – he said the brownie was hard to eat (he did get braces about 3 or 4 weeks ago…) and tasted “funny,” but he enjoyed the vanilla ice cream w/ the chocolate sauce (in hindsight, though he saw “tollhouse” he was still expecting a regular chocolate brownie…hence the reason this tasted funny!). I had the (Vanilla) Creme Brulee. I LOVE Creme Brulee, and will usually order it when I see it on a menu. This CB was very good – the top was the hard, crunchy shell it’s known for, and the custard underneath was …a different texture than I expected, but still VERY good. The texture was more like a very soft cheesecake, more dense than the usual smooth, melt-in-your-mouth custard. I liked it! We all took at least 1/2 of our dinners back to the place we’re staying; I’ll try to update this tmrw to let you know how the food was the 2nd time around after lunch…

Service and ambiance are excellent, but let’s be real; this is not a 5 star restaurant. Apps: we split the fried ravioli. Overcooked and all but empty pasta shells from frozen. Entrees: shrimp scampi was very good. The shrimp and scallop alfredo over penne special was ok, but there were only two scallops in the large bowl it came in. Two. For $28 I felt like I was slighted on both price and ingredients. Desserts: both the chocolate mousse and the tiramisu were very good. $100 for the two of us, no wine or alcoholic beverages is reasonable. 3 stars is a fair and honest rating.

Mary the bartender is so sweet and nice! My wife and I are industry people and sat near the well and she was so kind and communicative with her colleagues. You can tell she cares about her drinks! We also saw her run a couple drinks for tables while the bar was slow which is always a good look! Will be back again for sure hopefully Mary will be the one in the bar again!

Update July 2025: excellent service! We arrived early and explored the outside this time. Beautiful greenhouse and the wedding area around the Barn out back is lovely – flowers, rocks birch arch and views of the mountains are very nice. We shared a fried ravioli appetizer which was okay, and meals were chicken Alfredo, which was excellent , and a margherita pizza, which was good except for the flavorless cheese.

Arrived at 4:30 and they got busy quickly. We enjoyed the baguette with basil olive oil as a starter, and didn’t have to wait too long for our delicious meals. The lasagna Bolognese was outstanding, and my husband enjoyed his fresh pasta Bolognese pappardelle. Great ambiance, comfortable, nicely decorated old farmhouse style restaurant, and the employees took good care of us.

Not impressed unfortunately. Admittedly they were slammed in a Sunday night. We called ahead and they sat our party of 7 within 10 minutes. Seating was perfect and bread and drinks were a good start, but then after we ordered we sat and we sat and we sat . It was over 90 minutes before our food came and the final straw was my potato’s and steak were lukewarm at best. While everyone thought the food was good no one was blown away and it was a generally disappointing experience.
