South-of-the-border staples such as tacos & chimichangas plus margaritas served in relaxed digs.

I loved and truly enjoyed the tacos at Tapioca! The food was satisfying, and we didn’t pay much at all for a party of four, which was a great bonus. The drinks, however, weren’t very impressive. Overall, a great spot for tasty and affordable tacos!

Tampico’s was always my go-to restaurant for delicious Mexican food in Everett. After a ten year absence, I came back to see if the food and service was still there. I’m happy to report that the food is still terrific. I was happy to see familiar faces still working there. One is now the new owner. There are plenty of choices on the menu. The food is tasty and the portions are good. Highly recommended.

After trying several high volume reviewed hispanic restaurants and being mid at best TAMPICO breaks the streak. Best mexican food I’ve
had in town. I ordered the tampico special so carne asada and shrimp. i chose the add on of bacon w of course. Carne asada being toasted on the charcoal and the seasonings are perfect. Hands down best ive had after 10+ mexican restaurant tries. The bacon wrapped shrimp was amazing. Pretty sure they deep fried at the emd to get the level of crisp on the bacon while keeping the shrimp tender. They have Full size corn tortillas so i only had 2 tacos instead of 4 of the street food size corn tortillas. I had an electric tea and it was very tasty and got me just the right level of tispy you expect when having a drink at a Mexican resturant. I even came back for take out 3 days later and was just as good. and i live on the south side of everett

Tampico Mexican restaurant in Everett on Broadway Avenue is a decent place to sit down for some Mexican food. Parking is horrible as it’s mostly street parking. But once inside, guests are quickly greeted and taken to a table. We were a large party of 7 adults, but they seated us at a large table that was perfect in size. We were able to see into the kitchen as we were escorted past it to get to our table. The restaurant looks small from the outside, but it is deceptively very long for ample seating arrangements. The service is excellent and the place is kept very clean with nice decor. The food isn’t mostly your average Mexican restaurant, but there are a couple of standouts. The green sauce (verde) is incredible tasting! Too bad they give it to the table in a small bowl as I use a lot of verde salsa on everything on my plate as well as dipping the complimentary baskets of chips into. The red salsa was almost as good. Also, they have SHREDDED beef tamales which can be hard to find at most Mexican restaurants. The place has a good cozy atmosphere. Overall, it was a good experience.

I am from out of state. This is the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had.
Service was good, but couldn’t make up for the terrible food. Everything was so overly cheesy that it was inedible. The ground beef in my taco was pink. The chile con queso was awful. My enchilada was tough and couldn’t be cut.
On top of that, I left feeling queezy even having ate nearly nothing.
It cost $95 for three adults and a toddler to eat (not including tip). At that price point, there are certainly better options around.
Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Wonderful experience! Much bigger inside than you’d expect. We had our babies with us, so I asked if we could have a more private area to dine, and without a second thought, our server brought us deeper into the restaurant. Truly wonderful atmosphere. All the paintings and architecture were so fun to look at. The skirt steak was so yummy, I could taste the fire chared grill, which made my taste buds dance. Even the babies had fun chewing on some!

There is a reason this place has been there for over 40 years. The employees are wonderful. You feel like you afraid part of their family. The food is always great abd consistent.

I came in for lunch with my MIL and found a piece of broken glass in my food about the size of a pinky nail. I immediately informed the server. While they did replace the dish(because I asked for it), the way the situation was handled was disappointing.
Instead of offering a sincere apology or showing concern, the staff focused on speculating how the glass might have gotten there. The response felt casual and dismissive given how serious this issue was. Finding glass in food is a safety hazard, and at minimum, I expected a genuine apology and a sense of urgency.
I accepted the replacement dish and paid for my meal, but I left feeling uncomfortable and dissatisfied with how the incident was treated.
