Probably unfair, but marked down for beer choices. There are 8 beers on draft. There’s a lot of craft beer places around GTX and ATX that they could add. Even Florence Beer Market has better beer options. But bar food and specialty fries are always a good add.

Overpriced draft beer $6-$7-maybe $8. Nice sports bar with good service, good food, but dull atmosphere in Mel’s bowling. Mel’s is poppin’. The bar, not so much. Perhaps it’ll be better during NFL season. Definitely need cheaper drafts regardless.

Has changed ownership quality of food has dramatically changed little quantities for the price always out of your favorite beverages staff shortages. I could go on and on very unfortunate it use to be the place to go have fun with friends and family enjoy great food and beverages. I hope it gets better.

We had a fundraiser at Mel’s Bowling and spilled over into CJs for the silent auction. Great place, great food, great service and fantastic people. Absolute blast. We will do this again in the future.

New company changed policies as far as making lane reservations. Must reserve a lane now for two hours with a minimum cost of $85.00. Too bad that they did this as I will no longer be a customer to a place that I once enjoyed going to at a reasonable price.

I visited this place last night 20 February 2022 and the bartender was the absolute worst. Not only was she catering to people she knew but she let several people pass by the line and serve them right in front of me like I didn’t exist. I even sat at the bar to see if I could get my beverage faster and again she only tended to the other customers. Then another guy comes out the back looks right at me and still doesn’t ask if I need a drink or not. So I just stand up and walk back a few steps. Two other guys go sit at the bar and immediately he serves them drinks no questions asked. I think this has a lot to do with skin color and I will never come back and spend a dollar at this establishment.

I attended a company party here this season and it was SO fun! Shasta and Angel made sure everyone was taken care of, even when everyone was trying to get to the bar at once! I’m definitely suggesting coming here again for any future company parties I’m asked to give input on!

The food is always good. You order at the bar and they bring it to you. It is a family atmosphere most times. The kids enjoy the arcade.
