Well, this place just made my “Don’t Go Here!” list. Service was extremely slow and incompetent, and food was hard, tasted funny, and generally unappealing and unappetizing.

Service: the ordering process wasn’t terrible but there was a loud radio blaring while I’m trying to give my order. However, things quickly (or very slowly) went downhill from there. It took almost 30 minutes for us to receive our order in what is supposed to be fast food. And that was only after I had to get up and tell the guy that our food has literally been sitting on the counter behind him for the last 10 minutes. Instead of apologizing, he kept giving excuses that he was busy with multiple customers. Yeah, except that he managed to box and serve several other customers’ orders that ordered after us. Instead of making up obviously false excuses, just own up to your mistake.

Food: after the absurdly long wait, we were greeted with hard chicken katsu and even harder loco Moco. And as a bonus, the loco Moco had some sort of weird gravy on top that I have never seen on this dish. The eggs were uninspired and the machine salad off. Rather than risk our stomach health, we opted to toss 90% of the food and just go to Vivi Bubble Tea.

Summary: An absolutely abysmal experience and I hope others avoid this place to avoid the experience we had. The only silver lining was we didn’t tip on this atrocious meal.

How this place has 4 starts is beyond me! The inside of the restaurant is dirty. The food is below par! I ordered the Katsu chicken and the chicken had more breading than chicken! I also ordered two pieces of short ribs and it cost $8 and the portion was so small! The cashier wasn’t friendly, nor was he rude. He was very nonchalant especially when I asked questions. I won’t be back.

This place is Great! Honestly just as good as the L&L I’ve had in Oʻahu.
The staff is kind well organized and efficient! Thank you!

I heard about this place from a good friend, he said I won’t be disappointed and he was right! I came for dinner around 19:00, the place was empty, fast service and the food was made fresh on the spot, took around 10-15 minutes to cook it. I ordered a regular plate, the portion was big enough for two people! Give it a try, you will enjoy.
Just be aware, it’s not a fancy restaurant, it’s a simple place for a casual meal.

Great Hawaiian food and a great atmosphere. The portions were huge and both the moco loko and Kaluha pork had tons of flavor. To top it all off Tony the man working the front counter had a great attitude. The interaction made my day better. 10/10.

Lived in Hawaii 8 years. There are L&L there and this is the real deal. Great authentic hawaiian food just like home. Highly recommend the mixed combo plate. Also the alpha drinks are awesome.

Some of the best Hawaiian food I’ve tried in my gluttonous life. The pork tosilong is amazing, haven’t had one that tasty even at the Filipino restaurants I’ve eaten at. Portions are generous and pricing is fair. The atmosphere at the restaurant is OK at best but this place seems geared towards take out so don’t expect much if you dine in.

Yummm! Having lived in Hawaii for almost a Decade, I can tell you that this L & L is doing Hawaiian food right The Laulau & Kalua pork was tender & juicy and the Katsu was perfectly Crispy! If you have ever had Giovanni’s Garlic Shrimp on the North Shore of Oahu then you’re gonna LOVE the Garlic Shrimp We enjoyed the Dole Whip (Pineapple & Mango – not pictured), as well as the Taro Boba smoothie! Perfect cool treat after a Fantastic meal

Great lunch. I had BBQ spear ribs and they were wonderful. The food fam hot and ribs had the right amount of sauce on it. The flavor was fantastic. The large meal had three pieces of meat with rice and macaroni salad. The place was not crowded and the food came out fairly fast. Will definitely go back.
