This cozy wine bar and cafe has a relaxed vibe and generally tasty German/Austrian dishes. Schnitzel entrees came with red cabbage and spaetzel and were very good. I also recommend the salmon entree, which was moist, crispy, and tasty. I was not a fan of the apple strudel as the apples were not tender enough and the seasoning mix was odd tasting. Service was attentive but not highly experienced. We had to request refills on our beverages and also asked the waiter to wipe the table of debris.

If you are here, please do yourself a favor and order the schnitzel, it is simply amazing. We also had the Vienna chicken and all the flavors were there. The food here is superb, extremely flavorful and the portions are generous.
The ambiance did not fall behind, they had live piano and singer which added to the charm of the place. Additionally, they have a magnificent collection of Boteros which added to the overall charm.
The waitress and hostess were very professional, friendly, and accommodating. We had a lovely experience here and will definitely return.

Nice place and the service was fantastic. The food was okay. The only complaint was no bread offered. We ordered mussels & we suggested bread to soak up the juices. The appetizer had a thin crisp bread.

I hadn’t been here for about a year. My pork schnitzel was good. It wasn’t as crunchy and past visits. Also the food entrees were served on a smaller oval plate. This meant whenever I cut into my pork the spaetzel would fall off. Next time, I’ll ask if they could serve on a full sized round plate.
Piano music was a very nice touch, and a fresh flower on each table was pretty.
I’d have preferred a plastic to go container, over aluminum foil. Certain acidic foods don’t do well in foil. The aluminum causes a toxicity for foods like pickled cabbage.
All said, I’m sure we’ll return. The overall experience was good. The server was attentive and ambiance was lovely.

Our food was absolutely delicious. They brought their old menu back and it is better than before! I highly recommend their escargot, shrimp sambucca, branzino & their crėme brûlée is the best I ever had!! Plus the piano men was just delightful.

This place has been a local finer dining spot in the area for years. It has a pleasant atmosphere with a great piano player and the food is European (Bavarian) theme but with different weekend specials. Last night we got together for dinner and noticed it was quiet for a Saturday night. Our meal and service were excellent nonetheless.
We’ll be back soon.
These local places will disappear if we don’t support them. A good chef-cooked meal from a local mom & pop restaurant is usually so much healthier than the corporate chains, and prepared with love for the craft.
