What I also love is that they don’t just offer pizza — they have special drinks that are absolutely worth trying. Their lemonades are refreshing, flavorful, and a perfect match with the pizza. I highly recommend checking their menu online because they often have unique lemonade flavors that make the meal even better.
Overall, the food quality is consistently excellent, and everything tastes freshly made. If you’re in the area and craving truly good pizza with a perfectly crispy crust and great flavor, Andy’s Pizza is a must-try. Highly recommended for pizza lovers who appreciate simple food done right.
The service was good in the ambience makes you want to stay for longer.
I love that they had a board that helped you make beer pairings with your pizza! Overall great experience and I recommend!
The owner graduated from St. Andrew’s School, yay! Andy’s Pizza took home the title of World Champion for Best Traditional Cheese Pizza at the 2021 International Pizza Expo.
I also noticed they’re opening a new Andy’s Pizza in Montgomery Mall, which is great news.
Parking is either on the street or in the nearby Montgomery County garage.
Andy’s has bagels now. And you know what? They’re legit. I like that they r the perfect size for a bagel sando – not too thick like so many other bagel places where u can hardly get the thing in ur mouth.
The bagel menu is simple but to the point and I honestly kind of like that. The Everything Bagel is elite! I love the poppy seeds and sesame on there. I think the bacon and egg is the sandwich to get. Tasty bacon. I thought the sausage was ok. I see they have fresh squeezed orange juice – that’s a unique option. All and all, I think Bethesda has a new #1 spot for bagels …
Also, the online ordering seems more on point for the bagels, u can see my frustrations (below) about ordering pizza online. So far the bagel orders have been ready for specified pickup time for the most part so I’m happier about that. They also had an issue w the combo option online but they fixed it really fast when I mentioned it. Good on u guys for taking and applying the feedback quickly.

Old pizza review:
The pizza is tasty.
The takeout experience is a pain, every time. I’ve given this spot 5 plus times to change my mind.
Even if you order ahead, your order won’t be ready at the time selected.
Unfortunately I’ve experienced this time and time again. Like last night, ordered 24 min ahead of time for 7 pm pickup. Got there at 7 and my order is nowhere to be seen. I waited 14 min and talked to two staff to get it. This will probably be the last time I visit, it’s just not consistent or convenient. I just want to order and have it ready at the given time. Pretty simple. I recommend AP Pizza Shop as an alternative – they haven’t let me down yet. Also, they have a convenient walk up window.
At Andy’s, it doesn’t seem to be a staffing issue, there are tons of ppl working here. I’ve come when it’s busy and when it’s dead. Not sure how online orders for 3 slices of pizza can be so difficult. It’s got to be the system. I hope you guys can fix it.
If you are grabbing a slice in person, you prob won’t have a problem. Online orders, beware, and good luck. On the bright side, if you have a bad experience or incorrect food order, you can send in an inquiry on their website and they will issue a refund. That’s nice at least.
Service was also slow–took too long to get the bartender’s attention, and he wasn’t always at the bar even though there were maybe 6 people in the kitchen area already. Plates are at the counter and you get them yourself but this was not mentioned, same with plastic ware not being provided up front. Could make this much easier for customers by having a dedicated station for self serve things.
Finally the bathroom was in use, signs said another bathroom was upstairs, that one is out of order. Saw multiple people take the same route I had taken. Signage needs to reflect accurately.
The burrata margherita pizza slices were wet and dripping with cold cheese water. The mozzarella hadn’t been drained at all and was basically just plopped in there.
The buffalo chicken pizza slices has three small pieces of chicken. That’s it.
The carnivore mixed meat pizza slices had three pieces of sausage.
For over $37, I would have expected the pizza to be on time and warm. It was barely warm, soggy, and over half an hour late. No apologies. Just “5 more minutes” Over and over.
Very disappointed in this experience. Would not recommend. It’s a shame because the pizza would have been pretty good otherwise.
