Very cool funky old Florida feel inside. A little bit of being in a ship theme. Outside doesn’t look like anything special outside. So many great dinners and restaurants are like that especially in these type areas. But believe me always good and homemade. This restaurant has Alot of great southern seafood( mostly fried to perfection ) I had the Deviled crab stuffed shrimp ,with cheese grits
and since I didn’t order the salad I got a loaded baked potato to take home. My husband ordered the fried shrimp which there was plenty ( maybe not the bigger sizes you normally think) a decent portion with the best fried Okra and he did get the salad bar.Which had regular salad bar stuff.Potato salad ,macaroni salad pea salad all sorts of southern things. Of course pudding. As far as I could see every table was loaded down with tons of choices .Which this must be a huge draw to this restaurant. Of course also because of the amazing family friendly staff.Our waitress Niyonna was very sweet. You’d feel like a regular by 2nd stop. They would Rember you. So very many reasons on menu and on other notes worth going to. Make this your stop in a stretch of road that doesn’t have much. It’s worth it !Yes there is wine on Sunday and it was nice and cold.

Nikki was our server and provided top notch service. Everything from the onion rings to the steak and crab legs was DELICIOUS and perfectly cooked. The decor is amazing. Love this place! 5 stars! Will definitely be back again

In town camping and went to grab some dinner. Accidentally stumbled into the nicest place. Lots of nautical decorations (imagine eating on the deck of the USS Constitution), food was great (ordered the “Dinghy” fish, shrimp, crab cake and crab fingers, considered “lighter fare”), but the service… they were genuine, patient and friendly. Ina waited on me, but I saw this with other staff, to: “Sir”, “Hon”, “Darlin”, all professional and sincere. Some may not like that, but I thought I stepped in a time machine & was back at my Gramma’s table. I spent $20 & couldn’t finish! Definitely coming back!

Ate twice during my trip. Fried oysters were very good. The fish was very good too. They have an all you can eat special, but you won’t get past 1 plate. There portions are pretty big.
Service was nice, a prompt. Only thing I wished was they served coke.

The service as this restaurant was very good, and the decor was cute as well. We ordered to go food for our dinner. I got the hush puppies and the French dip, as well as 2 cheeseburgers. Everything was great except the hush puppies which have no flavor and taste like big fried balls, almost comparable to funnel cake. I was not a fan.

Its kinda like going back in time when personal touch was a special part to making a restaurant special. The salad bar is filled with all varieties of salads and items to make the salad that makes you smile. Whether its a booth or a big party they can handle it. The decoration fits the name. My Fish sandwich was cooked perfectly and very fresh and not just a manufactured battered square….it was a real fresh piece of white fish.

1st time all was good.
Last 2 visits only fair.
Waitress was the same on last 2 visits, she’s why I won’t be back.
Also sirloin sreak was 3″ x 3″ x 1/2″ square, about the same amount as a McDonald’s hamburger, only McDonald’s doesn’t charge $19.00.
Only wish I’d taken a picture to prove it.

Family of 3 adults and 1 child. If not for the friendly and attentive server, this restaurant wouldn’t even get 1 star. I don’t remember his name, but a tall young man with dark hair. He redeemed my vote..lol
I got a mixed platter, I think it was called The Mate. Ughhh.. everything tasted as though it was all just dumped in the same oil that had been used forever. It all tasted the same..greasy and tasteless. Same with the appetizer of “gator bites.” You couldn’t see any Gator meat. Just big lumps of breading.
I ate one piece of fish, one bite of the crab something (looked like a slice of fried green tomato), and one oyster.
The grease made me throw up before we got back to our Airbnb. It’s just so gross.
The salad bar WAS nice. Kudos to whomevers job it is to keep it topped off and clean. Nice selection and tasty.
We came here because years ago it was my daughter in law’s mother’s favorite seafood place. It has dark wooden walls and ceilings. Very dreary. The ceiling light fixtures over our table were flickering the entire time. The restaurant looks and smells dirty. You can smell something sour and musty. I think it’s the carpet, but ?.
We won’t be returning.

I do not know what has happened to this place since I was there years ago. Upon arriving, we were met by a woman standing at the corner of the restaurant, clearly on something. We pulled up, and she approached the vehicle, saying, “Oliver”. When I asked, “Excuse me”, she began calling me names and stated that I did not know her and that she would kill me. It wasn’t a valet for sure! Lol. I ordered the crab cake dinner for just under $21 and was brought some cookie-cutter, clearly not fresh, dense, and heavily greased pucks. The table next to us had to send back at least two steaks, as far as I know. It is upsetting because the food here used to be amazing. WHAT HAPPENED?!?!? The only pleasant part of the experience was our attentive and sweet waitress
