Just passing through while traveling, wanted to get some good food and found this place with a lot of positive reviews. To be honest, appetizers were alright, the crab Rangoon weren’t my favorites but oh well. The dynamite roll was really bad. It had a weird aftertaste like it was fried in OLD oil and it was just overpowering we couldn’t finish it. The other roll, hellboy was not as bad, I have to say that it was pretty spicy so maybe that’s why I didn’t feel any bad aftertaste.

The place was empty but we figured it was because it is a Monday night during winter break. But service was slow and they rarely checked on us.

Placing an online order for today, I went in a few months ago and the food was amazing and service was great.

We had a wonderful dinner at this cozy Chinese & Sushi restaurant! We started with the sunomono, which was light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with a hint of sweetness.

The sashimi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Every bite just melted in our mouths.
The unagi don was a highlight: the eel was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweet glaze over fluffy rice.

The Mongolian beef was delicious, savory, well-seasoned, and a nice surprise on the menu.

We ended the meal with mochi ice cream, which was the perfect sweet finish. Chewy, creamy, and not overly sweet.

Great service and a relaxed atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Some of the food was good, some was not. Hot and sour soup had no flavor at all. They weren’t busy, maybe 5 other tables, but it took so long to get anything. Main dishes came before the appetizers. We dis not order anything fancy either. Definitely not worth $77 for 3 people. Will not go back.

I was looking for a good Chinese restaurant near me and this was definitely a hit! They had so many options and everything looked so good. I ended up getting the Lo Mein adding chicken to it and my friend got Shrimp Fried Rice. Both were very delicious I would definitely recommend this place as it has plenty of options and it was super delicious. The service was fast and the staff were kind.

As a longtime lover of Japanese cuisine, I always find myself searching for places that can capture the true spirit of freshness, balance, and craftsmanship. Last night, I found just that — and perhaps even more.
The evening began with a simple yet exquisite starter: sweet shrimp paired with thin slices of crisp cucumber. The shrimp was tender with a subtle, natural sweetness, while the cucumber added a refreshing, clean crunch — a perfect prelude to what was to come.
The sashimi arrived next, and with just one bite, I knew I had found something special. The salmon was unbelievably fresh, silky, and rich, dissolving effortlessly on the tongue. It’s no exaggeration to say this was the best salmon sashimi I’ve had since arriving in Texas. The eel rice was equally memorable — warm, savory, and layered with flavor, each grain soaking up the essence of the tender, buttery eel. The Mongolian beef, with its hearty chew and deeply savory notes, added a bold contrast to the meal, satisfying in a way only truly well-prepared beef can.
Beyond the food, the experience was elevated by the people and the place itself. The owner greeted us with heartfelt warmth, and every server who passed by did so with a smile and genuine attentiveness. The interior was tastefully designed — a space that felt both intimate and stylish, ideal for a quiet date night or a lively evening with friends.
We ended with a scoop of ice cream that was luxuriously creamy and smooth, melting slowly in the mouth, each spoonful a perfect finish. Even the drinks showed thoughtfulness and care.
It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right — the food, the service, the atmosphere. But here, every element worked in harmony. A true hidden gem. 10/10 — a place I will be recommending to everyone who asks where to find the best Japanese food in town.

Came here for the first time. Sat at the Sushi bar hoping for some interaction with the Sushi Chef but he wasn’t at his station much. We were here between 6:00 and 7:00 on a Friday night and there were very few customers. When we left there were only 2 other tables. The Server, Madison was friendly and attentive. The Sushi was good, not great. I ordered a roll with Shrimp Tempura and the shrimp had been sitting a while and was not freshly fried. The Sushi bar was filthy. Zoom in on the pictures for proof. The Soy Sauce bottle was dirty also. These should be cleaned daily, and more often if necessary. Three of the booths in the restaurant appear to be used for storage and employees clutter. We wanted to pay with an electronic Gift Card and the Sushi Chef said that we could only use one per visit. It doesn’t say this anywhere on the certificate or the website when we bought it. We will be contacting the Gift Certificate company also, and ask them to include this in the fine print. They have an extensive menu and lots of specialties I had never heard of. They have great prices on their lunch specials. We will be back to try those and hope the kitchen is kept cleaner. The Front House Staff was friendly. Good location, easy to find, lots of parking.

We had pork egg rolls for an appetizer. They were temperature hot and crispy. I had the hibachi noodles with vegetables. They had a very good flavor. The broccoli was crisp, which I like. My husband had the Kung pao chicken. It was mostly all chicken with no veggies. He liked it, but said it wasn’t the best he had had. We would go back for sure.

I had the Chinatown Stirfry with steamed rice. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Also got a sampler appetizer. Everything came out in a timely manner and the service was great. The table and surrounding area was clean and maintained well. Good spot and I recommend it.

I ordered the lunch bento box with teriyaki chicken. The miso soup was delicious. I felt the teriyaki chicken was a little dry, so I’ll probably get shrimp next time. The rice was perfectly done! The California rolls have a very bold flavor that I wasn’t expecting. Not bad… just bold. My favorite part of my meal was the crabmeat Rangoons… yum!
