I never imagined dining at a restaurant that offers both a beautiful view and delicious food. Most restaurants with great views have expensive but mediocre food, but here you get the best of both worlds.
We arrived at 12:20 pm, before lunch officially started at 1 pm. They kindly let us sit in the restaurant, enjoy the view, and browse the menu. They came to take our order just a few minutes before 1 pm. The pricing is very reasonable, and the food was served hot and within a good timeframe.
We ordered risotto and pizza, and both were of excellent quality and full of flavor. The restaurant has a smart automatic window that opens and closes depending on the weather. It sits right on the water, offering a stunning view of the ocean, waves, and rocks.
The service was outstanding. I even forgot my hat, and the server ran outside to catch it for me. I really wish I could return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Old Town of Bar.

I seriously would rate this place a 6 out of 5! This place rates high in everything – service (impeccable) – all requests, dietary asks – responded with clarity and catered for. The food phenomenal – everything, seafood, sides, pasta, risotto, deserts! Drinks also great! We were attended to by a guy called Enis, polite, warm, kind to our niece, gave honest recommendations (for fish lovers – amberjack, for vegetarians – risotto and pasta). Each plate was finished clean 🙂

During a four-day trip through southeastern Montenegro, our group of friends enjoyed many great local meals — until our visit to Pino del Mar (11.10.2025), which will be remembered for very different reasons.
The place does have its charm — beautiful view, relaxed atmosphere, perfect for sitting down and watching the sea… ideally with food you brought yourself. The prices suggest ambition, but the culinary execution chose its own path.
The fish dish gave no warning of its venomous character until a few hours after dinner. The food poisoning that followed will surely become a legendary story among friends — though I’ll laugh about it some other time.
The staff’s cheerful attitude while serving a dish well past its prime was almost admirable. I find it hard to believe this was due to economic pressure — more likely, a bold interpretation of the term fresh fish. I’ve dined in humbler places where the waiter had the decency to say, “I wouldn’t recommend that today.” Apparently, that’s not the custom here.

This restaurant is amazing. The food is the best I’ve ever had, and the presentation but also super affordable. The views are beautiful looking out at the sea and the staff were lovely. Our server Ennis was amazing and super friendly. I will definitely be back!

What a pity! Waiters were well mannered but way too slow and distract. The new plates arrived while we had our finished plates still on the table. Even on the other tables after people dinished, the dirty plates were still there. We asked for bread and it never arrived. 52 minutes from one serving to another. Pretty unacceptable for these prices. However food was very good and average prices. Amazing view and sunset. Please fix the service!

Only one thing – it was little bit strange. If you serve beer-serve it with international standards -0.33/0.5. My wife saw how you meseared the beer trying not to pour extra ml- it is not suitable for such a restaurant.
Especially Hogarden – there you have to serve it in iced branded glass .
Anyway recommend to visit!

A nice place, but it’s worth coming more because of the view. The prices are a bit expensive, the menu doesn’t have a description of what’s included in the dish. We wanted to order pasta and seasonal salad. The waiter said that it includes tomato, lettuce, cucumbers. By the way, the salads are very small, but he brought us a neatly cut lettuce with tomatoes, I asked where the cucumbers were, in response I got that they forgot so they cut the cucumbers separately for me and brought them…there wasn’t even any oil in the salad, nothing. At least the pasta was tasty;)

First of all, the place and view is amazing. You can sit right beside the ocean, listen to the waves and enjoy your meal. We got the pasta and scampi and both of it was delicious. Definitely recommend, especially in the evening to watch the sunset.
