This BBQ joint is absolutely delicious! The meat was incredibly flavorful—we loved every bite. Although I ordered through DoorDash, I didn’t receive my cornbread because they were out. However, they handled it beautifully: they included a sweet note and a complimentary slice of pecan pie! That kind of thoughtful service is rare and made a huge impression. Great food and even better customer care. I will definitely be ordering again and can’t wait to try dining in next time.

Food was delicious. Very flavorful BBQ which we loved. I ordered via DoorDash didn’t receive my corn bread since they were out but they sent a note along with a complimentary pecan pie slice which is such a nice gesture. Definitely would order again, or even dine-in next time.

My review is for Carolina Brothers catering service. We used them for our rehearsal dinner and truly could not have been happier with how it worked out. Everyone commented on how great the BBQ was, and it was delivered hot, fresh, and on-time to us in Lucketts. The portions are huge, and it’s truly an incredible deal on top of the fact that their BBQ is delicious. We were so happy that our closest friends and family were impressed with the meal! Thank you to Carolina Bros for making sure it worked out perfectly.

I have passed by this many times while biking on the W&OD trail and it always smells delicious. So I stopped today and tried it. The brisket meat was tender and the portions with my two sides (potato salad and baked beans – I wanted more options like collards but no luck) were generous (more so with the sides than the meat, but I had plenty). I was disappointed that the meat wasn’t more flavorful and the restaurant’s own brand of sauces on the table were also bland to me. I do like spicy foods, and the “hot” sauce was way too mild for me. The other option was ok, but not great. Having been to Monks BBQ in Purceville, I had hoped for more. I might go back to try the pork and see if it’s better. The service was friendly and I enjoyed the decor (the country music videos not so much, but maybe you will ). Non- IPA beer choices were also limited.

Brisket was dry (more akin to pulled pork consistency) and lacked the smokey flavor that you’d expect. Potato salad was great but the baked beans were too sweet for my liking. It had a molasses like texture. Reasonable prices at $14 for a sandwich and two sides.

I’m not a big BBQ girl but my husband loves barbecue. Whenever he suggests barbecue if he says he wants to go to Carolina Brothers then I’m always down. Their ribs are so tender and fall off the bone. YUM. Will always come back here.

This place is excellent food, great staff and really competitive pricing. I catered for my team today and everything was better than expected. All my team raved about how much they liked it and how its their new favorite lunch spot. They even accommodates our non meat eaters. Definitely give them a try.

Best Eastern NC BBQ I’ve had since I left! If you know anything about nc BBQ, you know it’s all about the pork….. and this place puts Smithfield’s to shame! Good to know I can go to a pig pickin any time I want even living in Frederick MD. The inside feels just like home and the sauces and banana pudding are spot on too. This will be a bi-weekly stop for us for a long time!
