Extremely satisfied with my visit to Aurum while visiting Breckenridge. The food, cozy ambiance, and service were all excellent. Food and drinks came out quickly and were full of flavor! Visited during happy hour and got the crispy curried cauliflower, french onion burger, Korean fried chicken, aurum caesar, and french garden lemonade. LOVED the cauliflower and french onion burger, so much so that I’d visit Colorado all over again just to try them. The salad and fried chicken left something to be desired but still not bad. Loved the mocktails, very refreshing. A reservation is highly recommended as seating goes quickly and wait times can be a little long as they aim to give a quality dining experience to those who booked in advance.

We had a lovely experience at Aurum Food and Wine in beautiful Breckenridge. The restaurant is beautifully designed and laid out. It was much quieter at the front of the restaurant across from the bar area.
The bartender was friendly and talented. She offered us a number of drinks that weren’t on the menu. Curious George was really good and it was their play on the espresso martini.
They have a great happy hour between 4-6pm which we enjoyed on one of our visits.
Our server Scarlett was knowledgeable, attentive and gave us some great recommendations for our ski day.
The Wedge salad, the ribs and the beef carpaccio really stood out to us.
It was easy to walk there if you’re staying anywhere close to the village.
I definitely recommend making a reservation as it gets busy.
When we come back to Breck we will definitely go back to Aurum. I highly recommend it.

Awesome atmosphere. Tried the Duck Hunter cocktail, it was a fun experience but something I don’t need to get again. The old fashioned was very good. The crispy cauliflower and beef carpaccio were very tasty! Someone in our group had the beet cured salmon app and loved it as well. We’ll be back to try more!

Birthday dinner for us. Chefs tastings with wine pairing. Reasonable price for this level of food n drink. Two cocktails as well. Both excellent. Highly recommend, reservations needed too. Sorry photos bit poor as we dug in before I remembered to take them! Wour 2nd time here, first tasting menu.

**Outstanding tasting menu experience – those scallops though**

We had an incredible dinner at Aurum, Scarlet greeted us at our table and immediately made us feel welcome – not in that fake “fine dining” way, but genuinely warm and excited to have us there.

Our server was fantastic. They knew their stuff but explained things in a way that was interesting rather than pretentious. Timing between courses was perfect, and you could tell the whole team really cared about what they were serving.

**The food:**

The **beet-cured salmon** amuse-bouche set the bar high. This stunning magenta-colored salmon with pickled beets, goat cheese mousse, and pistachio-orange gremolata was just really well thought out. Honestly better than what I’ve had at some Denver restaurants charging twice as much.

The **seared scallop** in the surf and turf course was perfect. Like, textbook perfect sear on the outside, butter-tender inside. Came with hanger steak, squash, smoked trout roe, and this rich demi-glace. The scallop quality was exceptional.

**Crab & ricotta agnolotti** with brown butter-sage, squash purée, pepitas, and crispy carrots. Everything worked together really well.

**Chicken fried Lion’s Mane mushroom** – okay, this was unexpectedly amazing. The peach habanero sauce that came with it was incredible – just the right amount of heat with sweetness that brought out the mushroom’s flavor without overwhelming it. I’d come back just for this dish.

The **mascarpone dessert** (meringue, chocolate mousse, candied apple) was a great way to end things.

We did the wine pairing ($50) and I’m glad we did. Each wine complemented its course really well, and our server took time to explain why they paired what they did. The tasting menu is $100, which feels like a steal for this quality. They also offer a zero-proof pairing for $30.

Honestly, if you’re in Breckenridge and you care about good food, just go. Make a reservation ahead of time. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent – great food, knowledgeable staff who weren’t stuffy about it, and that peach habanero moment that I’m still thinking about.

Amazing dining experience! I had the duck and it was absolutely outstanding — perfectly cooked, tender, and full of rich flavor. The presentation was beautiful and the portion was just right. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in Breckenridge. Highly recommend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Auram Restaurant – A Feast of Artistry and Warmth

From the moment I stepped into Auram Restaurant, located on the 5th floor of the Hotel Las Americas Golden Tower, I knew I was in for something special. What I discovered was not just a meal, but a Thanksgiving feast that exceeded every expectation.

Executive Chef Juan Velasquez and General Manager Marilin welcomed me with genuine warmth and professionalism. Their passion was evident in every detail—from the artistry of the dishes to the gracious hospitality that made the evening feel both celebratory and intimate.

Variety That Delights Every Palate

Auram’s buffet was a masterclass in diversity. Stations encircled the tastefully decorated dining room, offering:

• Fresh salads with customizable toppings, from cucumbers and artichokes to roasted beets with orange and ginger.
• Side dishes like fine rice with herbs, creamy garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato purée, and roasted Brussels sprouts with balsamic.
• Proteins prepared with finesse: baked turkey breast with herbs, beef fillet in mushroom-red wine sauce, and roast pork glazed with honey and passionfruit.
• A ceviche station serving vibrant cups of freshly prepared ceviche, presented playfully on a wooden boat.
• A bread station paired with roasted pumpkin cream soup, rich and comforting.

The Main Attractions

Highlights included brisket al Vacio, tender and flavorful with brown gravy over roasted peppers and eggplant, and a beautifully carved turkey accompanied by classic cranberry sauce and filling—comforting and nostalgic, yet elevated in presentation.

Sweet Final Notes

Desserts were nothing short of spectacular: mini alfajores, pecan pie presented with flair, passionfruit mousse, coconut flan, chocolate brownies with pecans, pumpkin pie, and assorted cookies. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s artistry and attention to detail.

✨ A Memorable Holiday Experience

As a solo traveler, I often seek traditional holiday dinners abroad. Auram delivered the finest Thanksgiving celebration I have ever experienced while traveling. The combination of exquisite variety, artistic presentation, and the warm professionalism of Chef Juan and his team made this evening unforgettable.

If you find yourself in Panama City, Panama, Auram Restaurant is a must-visit. Whether for a holiday feast or a casual evening, expect a dining experience that blends international flavors with heartfelt hospitality. Hats off to the team—I look forward to returning soon.
