We have gone there a few times now, but this last time was the worst. We ordered a pack of softshell tacos, two of them with sour cream. The tacos hardly had anything in them, we couldn’t believe it! It was just a soft shell basically and the sour cream was one spoonful at the end of the taco. We were so disappointed and had to go somewhere else to get more food. Save your money go elsewhere.

My s/o & I came & “dined in” tonight & were actually thoroughly impressed by the service we received. Nicholas W. greeted us, took our orders, made SURE we knew all of our options, sides choices, sauce choices, etc. brought our food out to us, continuously checked in; how the food was, anything else he could get us, etc… took our garbage/tray as soon as we were finished eating, just all around provided a service you don’t really get met with in FAST food joints these days. Very kind, friendly, & personable. Our thanks to him!

Order cheese sauce on the side. when I receive the bag. The cheese cup tipped upside down completely without a lid. The last photo I have attached, show us how many paper towels I had to go through just to touch each taco which was filled with a cheese slime. This would be the third review. I’ve complained about it all in my life, but it was a severe inconvenience and I did try to just share it with the merchant. Somehow DoorDash didn’t wanna do that so here we are on Google my apologies.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I asked my partner to order my tacos while I used the restroom. They were picking up another order while we met for a moment.z the staff proceeded to loudly complain about my order and state I could not order with a dasher( which is a lie according to DoorDash website), the dasher had already left to deliver the order . They continued loudly complaining about me and my order and I explained I was not the dasher and the dasher was gone. They ignored me and continued to complain about it making my food, calling me rude names and saying I was lying and just pissed. It took over 15 minutes to get 3 tacos. I repeatedly asked them to stop, asked to speak to a manager or how to contact the manager regarding their behavior. They refused this information until I started to record their interaction. Food was cold. You have to pay for one cheese sauce with the six pack and a pound now and it always came with one. The Soto is flat. I thought I’d give them a chance because they looked slow and Taco Bell is across the street. But I now understand why there’s a Taco Bell across the street.

Unfortunate inadequate service with less than stellar potatoes that I love and I am use to getting
Man do I love tj and the those delish potatoes. But what I love even more is great service along with presentable food. Which never happened in this one trip.
Drive thru- ordered combo with chicken soft shells and md no ice with a young man. I was asked about sour cream and/or cheese which I politely declined and asked for mild packets only.
Got to the window. Young lady starts handing me md with ice. I declined and said I asked for no ice please. Easy fix.
Received my bag of food. Opened right away looking for mild packets but some container of cheese was right on top. Handed lady back the container of cheese and said “I don’t know what this is”. Then proceeded to ask for those mild packets as they were missing from the bag.
Pulled away to park and eat.
Pulled out the potatoes and omg my favorite part and the main reason for tj is the potatoes but they looked like complete crap. Most if not ALL of the oles were literally crumbled in pieces and not in complete circles… Not kidding. I needed a fork! I was going to take a picture but didn’t think I was gonna do a review and thought nah. Potatoes tasted fine but never have I ever had potatoes crumbled in small pieces which was unpresentable and harder to eat that way. Very frustrating!
Then I looked at the receipt. Wondering to myself why it cost me over 14 dollars for this meal, seems steep. Yup! They charged me for the cheese that I declined and gave back in the drive thru window.
Normally, I wouldn’t care and could look the other way if over charged a little BUT I was over charged $1.72 for a cheese container that I did not order. After all those mistakes so far, I felt my feelings were valid at this point and I didn’t deserve to be taken advantage of my money. So I had to go inside the store and wait an additional 8 or 10 min for them to refund the cost of the cheese I was wrongfully charged for.
Side note: as I waited for my refund I seen this same young girl bag a container of cheese that was dripping out of the container, onto the food that was being prepped to give to next drive thru customer. Oh boy. So much cheese dripping that she had cheese on her work shirt, realized it was on her hand and tried wiping the cheese off onto her shirt. Yes… customers do watch. Far from stellar service. This establishment does not seem like sanitation is a high concern, food presence is mediocre and correct ordering is not a priority. Again, all that in one visit. And the md with ice was still sitting right on the ledge at drive thru for customers to see vs disposing of it right away. I may love tj food but not service like this by any means. But a definite change is necessary for this is specific location if you want to stay in business and keep repeat customers happy with your service. Good luck.

Overall experience follows:
-Drove up to the drive through waited probably 5 minutes for someone to ask what I wanted to eat. (No cars in line ).
– Went up to drive up window woman at register was very rude and unprofessionally aggressive.
– My total was $16.38 (3) Tacos with all toppings , Potato Ole , and a drink.
-Live within 2 miles of this facility
-Arrive at home and go to eat my food the food was ice cold . The tacos had meat and lettuce. I would have rather drank ocean water than eat the salt oles.
Ended up feeding the garbage can with a 16 dollar meal. GO TO TACO BELL ACROSS THE STREET. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY EATING HERE.

Literally what is this. I keep coming back in hopes for a better burrito but it never happens, I’m always given burrito SLOP. If you need a good Taco John’s burrito, I would seriously recommend you to make the drive up to Cambridge. This is just ridiculous at this point.

After getting home. Order taker missed a meal. They forgot the extra sour cream on all the tacos. Seems like they forgot the meat too. Spoke to an employee who wanted to argue specifics on how much meat goes on the tacos and tried to say it looks less because theres more lettuce. There was maybe a tablespoon of meat and thats being generous on all 6 tacos. Luckily we didn’t eat more of the food. Woke up today with a house filled with food poisoning. Myself , husband and child all ate the potato oles and have been suffering for it. Will never return again.

Tonight was the worst visit yet. As you can see that pic. The counter was unattended the entire time.
No employees in sight. A customer actually greeted us. Once we got our food another customer went to the counter and the customer that greeted us had to shout to the employees that they had a customer.
Who hired these people?
