Thanks to my daughter, when I was visiting from New Orleans. She took me to Sharks and I had the greatest experience in tasting food with a New Orleans twist. The catfish bites were fried perfectly and seasoned well. But that Crab Dip, had me feeling I was at a New Orleans restaurant eating. It was delicious. Majority states imitate New Orleans cuisines and don’t come close. But I’m here to say that Sharks is the next best thing to eating in New Orleans. I wish I had more time to spend up there so I could return to experience more of their taste. Looking forward to my next visit to Waldorf. Thanks for making me feel at home. P.S. The specialty drinks were the bomb as well.

Arrived around 7:30, and got seated immediately. We started with drinks, oysters, and the deviled eggs with mini crab cakes. All delicious (i ordered more deviled eggs to go! ) for our entree we got stuffed salmon (which comes in a bed of rice) and 2 sides. Hubby got the blackend catfish with cheesy grits. Our server was great and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Pros: Crab Dip Fries were good & margaritas made strong.
Cons:
1. Waited 45mins for our server to bring a margarita. Ultimately went to the bar myself to order one & was informed the one we originally ordered was made earlier yet never delivered by our server.
2. Server came out with his own plate of food to eat in the midst of offering poor customer service. At least make sure your table straight before doing that.
3. Ordered appetizers, a pink lemonade, and a flavored margarita. Was brought a regular margarita, appetizers came at varying times as opposed to together, and it took close to another 45mins or so before getting the pink lemonade, after having to remind the server.
4. The entrees were disappointing. The chicken fettuccine & lamb chops lacked flavor, being unexpectedly bland.
5. Had to yell at people sitting right next to me to be heard over the music.
I would’ve given this place a second chance to try the food if the service was better, but to disappoint with both the food and severely with the service … I don’t feel compelled to return.

Kyana was our server here! Amazing vibes, Amazing service and AMAZING food!!! Really had a good time, feel like it’s a perfect atmosphere for a lot of different people in all age ranges. Suggested off the menu food options that turned out to be phenomenal.

I only came here because of mixed reviews.
The security guard /officer was rude to us before we entered this establishment. We asked if it was a cover charge. He said yes $25. Then, just starred at us. We were trying to ask him where do we need to pay and who. He got so smart with us and pointed at the QR bar code. Like don’t work the door with an attitude. Our waitress was all over the place. The only thing that decent was the seafood and the band that was playing. I don’t plan to go back. I agree what I am hearing about this place from those in the DMV. I wanted to get my own opinion. And ladies the bathroom first stall is tight. You can barely open and enter the bathroom stall. Another thing, it’s an automatic 18% gratuity to your bill.
Leaving on the positive the strawberry long islands is so good.

My type of environment. Upon entering the restaurant, there was no host available so the bartender angrily yells, “ HI! YALL NEED A MENU?” Or something dumb like that which seemed lower class behavior. The hostess walked up and asked what type of seat we’d like to sit and so on. We sat down and she said she’d get our waitress. We see a bunch of employees in different huddles talking, laughing and playing. And we also see another young lady pacing back and forth on a phone call. Eventually our waitress came. Everything I tried to order was out of stock, they were out of crab. So I ended up getting the calamari and half dozen raw oysters. I forgot to take a picture of my food. But it was good. While we were eating, the table washer guy comes by our table to say hello with his trash can and continues on to walk around. The restaurant is not packed he could have found several routes that were not near any customers but he seemed to feel the need to bring his trash near all current eating customers. My husband ordered a mixed fisherman’s platters. Although it was good, the hush puppies had A LOT of grease surrounding them. The whiting was good but it had bones in it. My brother ordered a fish sandwich and discovered his fish sandwich had several bones in it. The peel and eat shrimp are warm. No complaints on the taste just the delivery and service.

Deviled eggs with mini crab cakes was pretty good. The shark a fella oysters were pretty good. The crab dip was ok, I didn’t care for the garlic toast or the tortilla chips. It also had quite a few shells in it. The mini crab cakes arrived as we were paying and getting up to leave so not sure but assume they are good based off the deviled eggs.

Great atmosphere! Food arrived a little cold but Was good. There’s karaoke with a live band. Seating sucks or should I say getting seated. It was kind of like a free for all! The barmaid was a little pushy when it came to taking our order but she was nice.
