Jason was our server and he was 10/10. The establishment was clean and the other staff seems friendly, but the food unfortunately not good. It wasn’t absolutely terrible but definitely not worth the price point. There was 5 of us and 3 complained that the food was too salty and the seasoning was not all the way through the meat. The sides were marinated fine but the appetizers were bad. The calamari was straight rubber, no where near edible, and the cheese in the cheese sticks tough. Overall, the price did not match the value of the food at all.

Went for my birthday dinner yesterday. The food and waitress was perfect but we had to wait 10+ minutes and no one came to collect payment so we went to pay at the front. The older lady charged us and saw we left no tip in the receipt and made a statement about how it’s a 100 dollar bill but no tip as we were walking out. We left cash at the table. Won’t be coming back after that statement

We started eating here at the Fondren location when they first opened we always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service was always great. Recently my family and friends came here to celebrate my Husband’s Birthday the service and food were terrible they kept forgetting our ordered items some of our guests didn’t get their food until the rest of the table was done I was disappointed because I told everybody how great this place was

LOVE their fried shrimp! I get it every time I have a taste for good fried shrimp. I got it delivered each time so I’m not sure about the atmosphere and service. Ordering through UberEats with Crafty Crab has been great!

Quality service goes a long way and as good as the food is here, it’s disappointing that the service is lacking. My server, Amory was overwhelmed, but still very kind and prompt. I could tell he was pretty new to the team and as a server. He seemed to be in the weeds. However, his teammates were disappointing. I understand sections and I understand not being “tipped” for helping your teammates, but helping each other out goes further than anything. It keeps an establishment going and helps prevent disgruntled guests. I asked the server, Kat, that was near his section for a crab leg cracker and she instantly said, “let me find your server”. Yes, my server is at fault for not checking our section often enough, but grabbing utensils is a simple task that doesn’t need to be put in the POS system which is the only thing you should have to ask my server for assistance with. As servers, you should hep each other out at all times because it helps the business as a whole. She could have just helped out and gotten the cracker. Instead she ignored and avoided our section afterwards even though I asked 3 different times. I found it ridiculous and even my child was confused as to why she couldn’t just help. As small as an issue as this was, it did affect my experience. Good service goes a long way and based on previous reviews it’s an ongoing issue. Teamwork makes the dream work and I hope your staff learns the importance of this soon.

First time ever eating at a Crafty Crab. The food was some of the best batter dipped seafood I’ve eaten and I’m pretty picky about my seafood especially when people are spending good money for it. I personally do NOT like hush puppies because most places over season them and don’t let the original flavor seep through. But I factually liked theirs. The Fried oysters were better quality than so many other seafood restaurants. The Calamari was great and the onion rings were on point. If you like batter dipped fried seafood well their batter doesn’t overwhelm the seafood flavors it adds to it and tones it perfectly. Very impressed and will not only be back but strongly suggest you try the food and place yourself. Another thing I liked is on the way to the bathroom they had a hand washing station which made the place extra sanitized and cleanly. If I could’ve gave 6 stars I would have.

I eat here at least once a week. Fried catfish and sweet potato fries. Fried Tilapia and shrimp combo. Wings(not the best) Fried catfish and shrimp combo with coleslaw . Fried catfish and onion rings. Not all of these plates are on the same day so as you can see they are very consistent which I love!

Awesome place! I wish I had discovered it sooner. The food was served fast and tasted great. The scallops I ordered were tender and flavorful, and the shrimp boil that the table ordered was cooked to perfection. Go for the garlic sauce; it’s scrumptious.
Our waitress – I wish I got her name – was exceptionally friendly and helpful; she even brought over the robotic server to let us see it up close. The rest of the staff was kind, too.
The atmosphere is charming; it’s very nautical in theming, and the place feels clean. The lighting is cozy, too. I hope to return next time I’m in town.

Briana was amazing at the bar. She is 8 months pregnant and still answered every question we had. I went with my husband for lunch. We had just got done shopping and we were hungry. I mean the only reason my bill was high is because I was thirsty for an adult beverage if you know what I mean but other then that, Briana definitely told us what she recommended and that is all I needed. Food was on point and the crab dip she recommended for our non crab cake entree was bussin! lol thanks again Briana and congratulations on the new bundle of joy coming soon!
