Gorgeous ambiance, not a busy night but we were made welcome from the moment we arrived and given 5* service by the bar staff and our amazing waitress Ella who went out of her way to make our night feel special and individual. This was our first time going to a Millar & Carter’s / steakhouse and i’ve gotta say it was just an overall excellent experience, just as — if not better — than i had hoped for! going to a steakhouse is something i’ve wanted to do for a while and i’m glad we decided to go here.
Huge thank you to the hostess & our server Beata, she was absolutely delightful, very welcoming, vigilant and incredibly helpful; settling us down and informing us on the menu, as well as insuring clarity on allergens in the dishes. she frequently checked up on us to insure all was well providing ample opportunity to request anything further or answer relevant queries. our drinks were absolutely fantastic and looked gorgeous too!
And huge compliments to the kitchen staff again who provided an indisputably delicious meal! had to have been the most delicious steak i’ve ever eaten, with a broad selection of sauces and sides i was able to try and heartily enjoyed, with beautiful presentation.
Overall, we had an all star time, well worth a visit and i’d definitely love to go again!

I went here for my birthday and the food was really good. The plating also was beautiful. And one of the servers, Beata, was really nice. She also brought me congratulatory dessert when I mentioned that it was my birthday. Thank you. Will come back soon.

We were at st Alban’s to celebrate a friend’s wedding. The service was a little slow but the food a great (vegetables needed some seasoning). The best part was our waitress Lucy (hope I remembered her name right). She was amazing and very nice to talk to. We stayed till quite late but she treated us with great care and a genuine smile throughout.

Recently had a really good experience at this Miller & Carter in St Albans. We visited on a fairly quiet Tuesday evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our server Beata was very friendly and attentive. Her excellent service made the meal even more special.
The food and drinks were perfect. Both our steaks were cooked as requested and were full of flavour, with plenty of sauce. The fried onion, tomato, wedge of lettuce and fries were all really tasty. We opted for the brownie and the cheesecake for dessert, which were presented well and both really delicious.
Overall a great experience and would recommend visiting.
