Awesome breakfast my fellow truckers. Can’t speak about the rest of the menu as it is my first time here, but hands down the best breakfast I have had in a while. I look forward to coming back and trying out the rest of the food at this place. Enjoy!

Real authentic flavorful delicious Mexican food.
I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for fingers licking foods.
Their options were affordable and not to expensive.

Ok….let’s start with walking in the door…mildly chaotic inside with lots of people eating , but that is a good sign and means good food. Was asked immediately if I was eating in or out, and when I said in I was told to sit anywhere. I took the least dirty table I could find and waited. Shortly a girl came over, handed me a menu, and asked what I wanted to drink. She came back with the drink, chips and salsa, and a rag to clean the table, took my order, and that’s the last interaction with her. My drink was gone quickly, and if I’d have known it was the only thing I’d be offered, I’d have made it last. Beef fajitas came came fairly quickly, via another girl who set the meal down and walked away and not once came to check on me …the meat and veggies were nice and hot. I got two large flour tortillas, which was not enough, but hey, who was I going to ask?alao was not asked if I wanted/needed anything else. I’m American…I like lettuce, cheese, pico, sour cream, etc with my tacos/fajita/burritos, etc. I was not asked, was not checked on, was not approached seeing if I wanted another Modelo, etc. Yeah, I’m just an American trucker… I obviously don’t deserve to be treated like a guest. I’d have spent more money, and tipped better, if I felt my business was valued. Was planning on having a late dinner here later, but I think I’ll pass. Food was good, but felt I didn’t matter at all.

My Honest Thoughts
I came to El Paso for the legendary Mexican food, but instead walked into one of the most unsettling vibes I’ve had before even ordering. On the single-stall bathroom door was a chaotic marker sign screaming “NO HOMBRES.” It was both disturbing and oddly comforting to see it before I ordered because I won’t support a business that openly discriminates based on political prejudice. How exactly does threatening anyone who doesn’t look feminine enough to the restaurant management make me feel safer using the bathroom as a woman? Like it or not, everyone has to use the restroom regardless of their appearance, and this sign shows how seriously controlling, and even potentially dangerous this attitude can be, where anyone who looks remotely masculine risks trouble. I have short hair but I’m a woman, and I didn’t feel like risking some man banging on the door thinking I didn’t belong. It turned what should’ve been a simple bathroom stop into a hostile, tense moment and killed the mood before I even sat down to eat. I went to a different place that was not only delicious, but kind and considerate towards their customers. It’s a bummer I couldn’t feel that level of comfort here.

The food was alright. My husband really likes it here, I thought it was alright. I had the birria tacos and I thought it needed more seasoning. My son and husband had the enmoladas, they were alright. It took a few minutes for the waitress to come and take our order, it wasn’t that busy. The restaurant is not fancy, it’s a little hole in the wall restaurant.

Ordered shrimp garlic MOJO. Brought me shrimp cocktail. Fixed mix up. Garlic not quite done, fries not crunchy. Been better with beans rather than limp potatoes. Cafeteria style atmosphere. Nice to get out of truck and sit down. Shrimp were tasty 12 count. Green salsa was a little spicy.

Been here several times and it’s always the same. The food is acceptable but the service is horrible. Always have to ask for everything multiple times, from drinks down to the tortillas. I understand servers get busy, but these servers act like they just don’t care. Won’t be back.
