Yall….just no…
-There was a huge piece of clear plastic melted onto my daughter’s french fries
– There was a green bread tie type of thing inside my burger.
– The lobby drink machine was out of soda
– Our food took 25 minutes to make, even though we were the only ones inside.
– The Play Place area is condemned.
– They were out of kids meal applesauce.
– Old dirty fry grease (in picture)

I really wish I would’ve taken pictures but I stormed up to the counter immediately. I’m so ticked off and grossed out. Never again.

The food is usually hot and fresh. I stop here every so often about once a month when I’m working in the area. Some of the younger employees like the openly gossip and talk shit about customers out loud while there’s customers in the dining room. It’s kind of expected with this generation of teens working at fast food joints these days. The service good. Would be nice to keep those types of conversations to yourselves maybe further back in the kitchen or on break when you’re smoking outside or something.

Slow and very unorganized. 22 minutes for a whopper is a waste of time. I’ve only ever seen 3 people working and the young man working the register needs more training! Every order yesterday (3/3/26) he rang in wrong and the manager couldn’t get her finger to work to correct it.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience at this location raised enough health and safety concerns that I feel it needs to be addressed.

I drove about 20 minutes out of my way to try a bundle meal, but when I arrived at the window, I was told the drink wasn’t included, then the dessert wasn’t available either. Even worse, I was informed I would still be charged the full price for the bundle despite receiving only a portion of the items. I declined and ordered something else, since I was already there.

When I received my food, the quality was extremely disappointing. The sweet tea I was given tasted strongly like prunes, which typically indicates it’s old and has been sitting out far too long. That alone made me concerned about food safety. When I went inside to replace the drink, the ice machine didn’t work, and the Hi-C dispenser was coming out completely clear—another sign that equipment wasn’t being maintained or checked properly.

When I approached the counter to ask for help, the employee didn’t acknowledge me, didn’t turn around to speak to me, and was dismissive when she finally responded. Meanwhile, multiple customers inside were getting incorrect orders. It didn’t inspire confidence in the handling or preparation of food.

What concerns me most is that there appeared to be only two employees running the entire store, which raises questions about compliance, safety, cleanliness, and overall ability to operate properly. Between the old beverage, nonfunctional machines, incorrect orders, and dismissive service, I genuinely worry about what other standards are being overlooked.

I ended up unable to finish my meal because it tasted off, and I experienced stomach cramps later that night. I rarely complain, but this visit left me genuinely uneasy. I hope management or corporate looks into this location to ensure it meets basic health, safety, and quality expectations.

The lady who took pur order was very friendly and helpful. She delivered out meal to our table. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. I noticed her tidying up between customers. Great employee. Sorry I did not get her name.

The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil and the chicken nuggets were cold. The burger was fine. I went through the drive thru and they got my burger order wrong (double bacon cheese plain was not plain and lacked bacon).

When I went inside to get it corrected the lady took my receipt and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. Merely told me “I know what plain means” when I re-explained how I wanted the burger. Mistakes happen but customer service is what can make a minor inconvenience trivial or become a bad experience.

A huge thank you to Tabitha and ESPECIALLY DAVID for phenomenal customer service and care. BK may not get the turnout of other fast food restaurants. Tonight this location and staff is proof that it should. Friendly and courteous does not begin to describe the treatment my wife and I received on our drive thru order.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a one star review in my life, especially for fast food because my expectations aren’t that high, but this was by far the worst food I’ve ever received from a fast food restaurant. I got chicken fries and I’m pretty sure they gave me the chicken fries from yesterday’s trash bag. Cold is one thing because I got them to go, but these things were cold, hard, and stale. I’m convinced they got them out of the trash because there’s no way they were part of any recent batch they made. I could literally play the drums with these things. Complete disappointment, my cat wouldn’t even eat them.

We hadn’t visited this BK near I-95 Fernandina Beach Exit since they had remodeled, etc. What a pleasure! We were there for breakfast, and the croissants were hot and delicious. The counter folks were nice. Coffee was hot and good.
The dining area was very clean, with all-new tables, chairs, booths, etc. Before we left, the on-duty manager, Lisa, came by to ask if all was well, etc. She was very nice and very proud of their facility, their food, and their service. Both of us told her what a great remodeled dining room they had, and about how much we enjoyed our breakfast. Thank YOU, again, Lisa.
We will be visiting BK near I-95 at Yulee/Fern. Beach more often!
