Found this gem through Reddit, came to get out of the tourist traps and try some Domican food.
And yeah, it lived up to everything.
The chicken is tender, flavoursome and falls off the bones. The beans are in a world of its own and the salsa is tangy, so and cuts through everything in the best way.

i’ve been coming here for years, but I really think that they have changed the cook. The food was horrible. Ordered pepper steak $15 and all I got was huge pieces of onions and peppers and maybe five pieces of steak which were greasy stale and soggy just nasty the beans horrible my husband also got a order horrible dry fried chicken overall it’s not the servers fault but if you’re gonna charge so much money at least make sure that your food has quality if I can give zero stars for the food I would. I always try to give the a chance and come back but this time was the last.

I had such a great experience here! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the bistec con arroz, which was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Everything we tried tasted fresh and homemade. The service was wonderful too; everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing Dominican food!

What can I say, it’s a great Spanish spot we saw on the way back to the hotel. Service was great, the staff was helpful and the portions were like your Spanish friends grandma over feeding you. It was all delicious, and very tasty, chicken was amazing, as was the chicharron. Loved it and the piece was huge. We ordered dinner portions by accident, but still ate quite a bit.
Would not hesitate getting food from here again.

Definitely recommend the sancocho and the mofongo
Service was fast. And average wait time for made to order items was maybe 15 minutes at most.
Also music was poppin and the telenovela on screen was gripping

Good food, a bit pricey for the quantity and was a bit unclear what you get in a plate and what’s the price
