So this is a nice place, however this was my first time here and order a maxwell sausage no peppers. I got a normal hot dog and was thinking to myself maybe this is how they do things. Was kind of disappointed but realized in other reviews the maxwell sausage does look different, so they might of made a honest mistake.

Easily one of the best spots I have ever been to bar none. The staff is always super friendly. The food is fresh and some of the best Italian beef, Breaded steak, pizza, and burgers. Its one of those places where you try one thing and you really want to come back and try their other stuff its so good. And the crazy thing? Everything is fairly priced. In a world where a double quarter pounder from McDonalds cost almost 12 dollars I recommend stopping here instead and getting yourself a steak burger instead. Trust me its worth it. Ill be coming back again and again.

Better than a classic Chicago “hot dog joint”. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient in getting the food to you as you ordered, in a hurry. The classic Chicago dogs, beef sandwich, meatball and breaded steak sandwiches too. I’ve had them all, and not one has been a disappointment The pizza is amazing! Get a slice, you won’t regret it. Finally, the prices are better than most places and you can get away with less than a $10 lunch. Daily specials too. I’ve been going to this location for almost 30 years now. Please give them a try.

I was in Chicago working for a week and at here three times! It was that good. Very fast service, delicious dogs and pizza and very reasonable prices. Daily lunch specials are a hit. Can’t wait to come back!

This is my honest review: the pizza is equivalent to frozen pizza, very plain and doughy. Breaded steaks are bland, meat is not flavorful at all. Big but a lil below average in taste. Fries that are a side and costs $4 bucks should be bigger than a small Mcdonalds fries. The only good sandwich I’ve had was there “Hermanooch Chicken Sandwuch” it had good french bread and good grilled chicken. End of review.

Love the pizza slices here! Great price for the quantity you get. Other items are good as well like their sandwiches and burgers. Nice place for a quick bite, staff is always friendly and place looks clean. Super busy around lunch time but they always have fresh slices of pizza coming out!

This place is small inside but it has some of the best fast food around. They have a massive and very tasty breaded steak sandwich big enough for two people. Their Maxwell Street pork chop and Polish are also very good. They also have burgers, pizza, hot dogs and many more fast food favorites. They have different food items as a daily special every day of the week, which are slightly discounted from their regular price. For your convenience, you can place your order ahead of time and pick it up inside or at their drive-thru.

10/10 recommend this place. It is definitely a hidden gem. The food is delicious, I have never been dissatisfied with any of my orders. I used to work right up the street and I would come here for lunch once a week. Now I live and work farther away, but whenever I am in the area, I always make it a point to come in and get some lunch. I must say, it does get pretty packed here, but once you taste their food, you will know why. And you do get a lot of food for the price you pay. Totally worth the experience. All of the staff members are so friendly too.
