M & J’s is a family owned business that does “Fresh” Southern cooking. We pride ourselves in our food & quality. We have fresh fried foods all day. The salad bar is cut new everyday. Trust me all the food is as fresh & as homemade as can be. My dad, brother, myself & my trained seasoned staff come in to put the best product on the bar that we can. M & J’s takes great pride in our food & service. We are known for all our food; however, I really like our fried chicken, fried green tomatoes & fried whole catfish. Been going ever since opened, but last couple of months the chicken dressing has went down hill. The rest of the food is good and the waitresses are awesome, but the dressing is either not cooked enough or someone different is making it. I posted to the website last week about the celery snd onions not being done. All I know is there were large pieces that were hard. I even posted a photo of my plate where I could not eat those pieces. I thought by coming back to day that it might have changed but, no it hasn’t. I’m not the only one complaining, as our church comes a lot on Sundays and noticed it also. I would love to come back one day to see that this issue has been dealt with. Maybe someone can do a better job.

Most of the food had NO SEASONING and almost no taste… even the rolls and cornbread. ♀️ The cabbage was under cooked, and again, had no flavor. The fried Green tomatoes were good (after I squeezed them between napkins to remove some of the grease), as were the chicken livers after adding salt and pepper. My husband was very pleased with the fried chicken and the peach cobbler, and the salad was fresh. The waitress was very attentive to our needs.

Everyone that worked at this establishment went out of their way to accommodate us . They was very friendly and helpful we never had to ask for refills they made sure we had enough drinks and everything else. The food was good , but to be honest the people was better then the food. I am from out of town but if I ever visit here again I would eat here just for the atmosphere.

Best fried tomatoes I think I have ever had. Perfectly crispy. The dressing had too much sage for my taste but other thinks were great. Especially the squash casserole, meatloaf , fried chicken and cornbread. Second time here cause we remembered it from our travels last year

I read reviews after picking this location to eat at. We were not disappointed! Though the food was all to our taste, it was good! Some seemed over cooked, some was new to our taste buds, and some we just had to mix n match to make it better.

All you can eat buffet, self seating, lots of parking. Booster seats available and I definitely recommend the desserts. Local dishes southern cuisine and come hungry because you won’t leave that way.

I was really surprised how much I liked this place. Ate here twice on a business trip and the food was good, especially the salad bar. Staff was friendly and attentive, and it was a really great value at $15 for dinner.

Was looking forward to this place for the first meal of my day but it was quite the disappointment with food quality. The fried chicken was pretty dry the Mac and cheese was bland and the Vegetable Soup has potatoes that were quartered and huge. Service was decent but that’s all I could really say.
