I don’t give 5 stars very often but the girls here deserve it and more. My husband and I came through the drive thru Wed night on our 12th trip to the hospital to see my mother in law who was very ill. What she wanted more than anything was a Banana split. When we finally found a place that had one we headed straight for it. We were hungry too so we each got a basket and was surprised how good it was, but the best part was when we told them what the ice cream was for they included a very sweet hand written note to my mother in law that made her smile with delight. Taking that time to make a very ordinary take out order so personal made her night. It brought a tear to my eye to see someone stop what they were doing and personally write that note to someone they had never met. Well done girls and thank you for giving us a chance to see her smile like that when she was feeling so awful. We need more people like you in food service.

I absolutely love the Dairy-O!! My family and I have been customers since I was a little girl and any time I come back to visit family in Orangeburg, I always make it my business to stop by to grab something to eat. Might I add, the food and customer is just and good & wholesome today and it was decades ago! The chilli dogs are my favorite!

Neat old time diner. Burgers were good. Service was good. People were very friendly. Old fashion vanilla ice cream. Parking is a bit hectic as the drive thro is where you come into the parking area and it gets jammed backed quick. Best best is to park in the parking lot right before it

Decent food but the only highlight is their vanilla ice cream, it’s the best vanilla you can ask for, the rest of the food is ok. Staff are typically helpful but unfriendly.

Service was kinda meh but I expect that from fast food. The food itself was not great. Burger looked smushed, as if someone had dropped a weight on it. Fry portion was kinda small and they were approaching cold. Only decent thing I managed to get was the Oreo malt shake. Not sure I’ll be back, but if I end up trying it again, I’ll stick to just the ice cream.

This was supposed to be gizarss only… it’s only liver. They are burnt and crumb.
The hamburger was flattened out, and had stuff on it. The ONLY thing that was good was the fried okra. Very disappointed considering this was my first & last time eating there.
