Our large menu features gastropub fare, including Beer Cheese Nachos, ½-pound burgers, sandwiches, and some of the best chicken wings in the Commonwealth, alongside excellent entrees such as our Beef Stroganoff, Schnitzel, Walnut Whiskey Glazed Salmon, pastas, and steaks. Need a place to unwind and kickback? come here! Late night happy hour specials and regular happy hour specials are great! Must get the Bavarian pretzel with cheese and mustard, salads and burgers are great! The wings (Dry run and old bay) are awesome, their season food and drink specials are great too! Service is excellent, Mehki was a awesome waiter, Weaver and Terrance are fun bartenders!

This is one of the best, most affordable, quick lunches in Innsbrook! The service is lovely and the atmosphere is nicer than one of the neighboring fast food places. Food comes out quickly and their burger deals are a steal! Where else can you get a burger and fries at lunch for 10 bucks?

I was in town for my daughter’s tournament and I am so glad I made a stop by this place. It’s a great experience with such a convenient location. There was an understandable (Saturday night with multiple sports teams in the restaurant) wait and the hosts Tyson and Carol made us feel welcomed right as we walked through the door. While waiting for our table we went to bar which has such a lively atmosphere. There, my wife and I were able to choose from the largest selection of beer I have ever seen and it was poured very quickly. Once we were sat the great service continued with our sever Cindy, she had told us the food may take a little longer than usual, but she continuously checked on us throughout the night. The food was good but the service made the place exceptional, a true representation of a cohesive community in the workplace. Definitely an experience I would recommend to anyone in the area!!

We’re from Charlottesville and came up for New Year’s Eve. We planned to go to a nearby bar and grille, but it was overpacked. We’re glad we found Capital Ale House because the atmosphere was more our speed, the drinks we’re okay. The food was hitting The service we had was immaculate – coming from two former food service workers. Shannon was our servicer, she walls very attentive, conversational, and overall had a good demeanor/energy. I believe the manager brought our to go order out and he was very professional, good mannered, and reassured me that I could order a dessert 10 minutes until close. The Smokehouse burger and the rockslide dessert made our trip worth it. We got take out as well – worth the elevated yet down to earth experience. The bathrooms were also clean. Would definitely recommend ✨️

Walked into the establishment met with friendly customer service. What the relaxation Ambience of dimlet atmosphere. Appetizers came out within 10 minutes of ordering drinks from the bar which was made with experience Mixology. Came to the table within 10 minutes of ordering. I get there, order three waters and inquired about the addition of lime and was assured it was available and would be with our waters. Our waiter came out with plastic cups of water, stating that they had ran out of glasses – while no one around us were supplied with plastic cups. Guess where the lime was? Your guess is as good mine, cause it wasn’t with our water. I then proceeded to order our drinks and our food. It took 25 minutes for our drinks to be delivered. I was assured the food was coming right up. As our drinks warmed we refrained from drinking because it was recommended to pair them with our dinner.
At the 40 minute mark, we were told that it was busy and that the food was on the way shortly, with apologies for the wait.
At the 55 minute mark, we were given napkins and told the food was coming now. I waited another 5 minutes before I gave up on getting timely service. I spoke with the manager and he said that if the food was ready, they’d box it up with no charge. He then returned with yet another apology. I paid for my drinks, gave the young man a 25% tip and went next door to the Taziki spot that promptly brought us out great food in under 8 minutes.

i had a great experience here! me and my family were warmly greeted by the hostess, caryl emmerling! we were quickly seated and i could tell that all the workers were very kind. quick and efficient service the whole time and our food was great! highly recommend the brownie rockslide for dessert! will definitely be coming back again!

Zack, Sahara, and Sarah were phenomenal. They worked cohesively as a team to make sure the bar was well taken care of. They were fast at grabbing orders, while providing a fun and friendly environment. There was another gentleman who was helping behind the bar, but I did not catch his name. I’ve been to a few of the Capital Ale Houses in the area, but this is by far my favorite. The beer and food selection is also really good.
