Nice atmosphere but the BBQ was just okay. First time eating here, and when I walked in, the ladies at the counter seemed more focused on their own conversation than greeting customers. Once I got their attention, they were polite, and a couple of the guys there made me feel really welcome.

I ordered the brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The sides were fine, nothing special. The pulled pork was the best thing on the tray. The brisket looked great but was dry and not very flavorful. I had to use sauce just to get through it. The meats were barely warm, even though the sides were a good temperature.

Good portion sizes, so I left full, but overall the meal didn’t live up to the atmosphere. I wanted some great BBQ today and left disappointed.

Second time I dine in. My first time I ordered a briket fully loaded potatoe. It was okay, but the brisket was a little dry and not enough cheese. They also forgot the bacon, so they brought it over to me. Today, I wrnt for lunch with my husband. He order a 2 meat sampler, brisket (was great and moist but such a small portion) and a jalapeño sausage also very good, as well as his side of bake beans and the corn bread. I ordered 5 piece ribs, seriously the smallest ribs I ever had, they were really good as well as the mac & cheese and corn bread. We ordered 2 drinks and our bill came to $40. The portions sizes they served should not be more than $10 per serving. I consider this place to be extremely high price for the size of portions you get. If you built a plate with more than 1 side, probably you ended paying g about $50-60 for two. This is mind blowing.

My job ordered this for our luncheon and it was my first time eating from here and I am impressed. The ribs were delicious and tender. The Mac and cheese so good! The jalapeño sausages were a hit as well. Oh and can’t forget the cornbread. Chefs kiss!!
I can’t wait to actually sit down and dine in with you guys!

My family came in sunday night. Food is amazing as always love the simple selection, but who needs a complicated menu when the food has a wonderful impactful flavor. The staff is always nice and warming. Especially the manager Ron. He always talks to us and brings a warm atmosphere.

Navy veteran here! Great place and service. I got a pulled pork sandwich w/ smoky mountain sauce which I dribbled over the meat. But, definitely didn’t need it. The fresh cut fries and sweet cornbread were delicious as well. And, they have humongous brownies. Oh, I also had the baked beans with brisket. I will be back again. Great portions too! Love the atmosphere. I took a few minutes to give my respect to the fallen on the wall as well!

Drove over an hour to try this place & it was worth every mile!!!! Walk up counter service, & an amazing collection of military memorabilia covering the walls. It’s truly beautiful to see. With the fantastic selection of sauces in a 6 pack on the table…I was able to try them all. Smoked turkey was tender. Baked beans were phenomenal & full of brisket. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area.

This place has a nice atmosphere and it very laid back feeling to it. It is basically self serve, you order at a register and get a cup. They prepare your plates and you come and get them from the counter as well as seating yourself. We did have a waitress check on us while we ate, but I think it was more of a wellness check than anything. Everyone was nice and the food was great. Definitely would recommend.

Let’s begin by saying this place is great and the atmosphere is great. The badges and stickers from all over are great to see and check out all of them.

The employees were so nice and friendly I definitely will return again.

I got a chopped brisket sandwich and that was so delicious along with a side of green beans and bacon.

Everything was great and I highly recommend this establishment to anyone wanting delicious BBQ.

Traditional BBQ joint with your normal sides. Nothing was great but everything was good. Staff was very friendly and service was fast. I would definitely go to one of Tallahassee’s food trucks if you want good bbq but this is a good alternative if you cant find one.
